And this song is so beautiful- too bad it's one of the lesser known on the Momento Mori album. I love this one.

my opinion on this: she's speaking as God. like, God's talking about how you kiss other people's hands and fall in love with other things or people, but he wants you to fall in love with HIM, and how he's waiting for you. and how you're never going to be alone if you follow him. ^^

I first listened to this song thinking about my ex, and it made me sad and longing. When I thought about this song from God's perspective, I felt happy and loved. Definitely the way to go.

I finally figured out what this song means! At least to me, it is showing how God feels when we don't turn to him, and instead turn to sin. And that he is always waiting for us to choose him, and he will never give up on us.

To me, this song has two meanings. The first is quite obvious that the lead singer (or whoever she is personifying here) has strong feelings or a strong emotional attachment to a specific person -- "If you choose me, I'm waiting for you / Always waiting" -- and wants to be there for him or her, but that person's heart is caught up in other things, things that aren't what the other person desires for them, which is to love them and make them feel important, and thus it makes them feel crushed.

Suddenly remembered this song. Knew this bcos of 548 heartbeats!! 💛

For me, this song represents unrequited love. I used to feel this way about someone. He dated all my friends, but never me. He liked me, and got so nervous around me, so I never understood. Even planned to lose our virginities together is middle school. Lol yikes. Ohhhh the middle school days 😂

I find that songs and bands that are classified in some form of Christian usually have some sort of message. So, in this case, yes, I feel these songs are here for you to know the message, but they are also really good songs, so you could just listen to them and enjoy it. I mean, I have found the message it brings for me, but I also listen to it just to listen to it. So, no, I don't think it's just a song, but something to be treasured and kept close to the heart, like most art is. :)

You know Tiny Heart is about pizza? there was this pizza shop a few miles away from Pats dorm called Tiny Heart Pizza, Pat loved it very much. But it was always closed when he tried to go to it and it never delivered on time he was "always waiting" for it.

@MegaMissmoonlight I didnt mean it like that. I was trying to say how It's more like flyleaf is saying how WE have tiny hearts at times. How God cant wait untill we come to him, but our hearts somtimes seem only big enough for other people and things besides him. Hince the line, "Tiny heart, stuck inside yourself. When will you open up to me?" Is kinda like god saying he wants to be in our hearts and to be with us/us be with him.

Actually, I can choose to disbelieve because I am not going to be persuaded by some person that I met on RU-vid that my favorite band doesn't really mean what they sing. My loyalty lies with God, and I believe that Flyleaf is a band that is wholeheartedly worshiping him, and not Satan. You can believe what you want to believe, and I can believe what I want to believe, case closed. No response necessary.

@MegaMissmoonlight I think the song's supposed to be from the perspective of God singing to a person (tiny heart)...but only if you want to interpret it that way.
