First, I know, I'm "a little behind"...but, better late than never, right? Second...and (much) more importantly...a HUGE "thank you"...not only for this NB4-related video, but for ALL the NB4 videos you've done (and, hopefully, will continue doing). Not only have you done more for the NB4 (for years) then any other RU-vidr...but, you've done more for it then even FlySky has. In essence, you've created a "video manual" that's FAR more 'complete' than anything (printed, or video) FlySky could have EVER done - your videos are the quintessential 'go-to' for NB4 users arrive the world. I'm 1,000% certain that they're are countless others who will completely agree with me on what I'm about to say.......... Without your videos, I'd be "completely lost" on the NB4. When I purchased the NB4, I got it to 'compliment' my Futaba 7PX (hahaha & land race vehicles on 7PX, boats & crawlers on NB4)...but, as time goes on, and FlySky releases more "advanced" receivers, I find myself coming up with more & more excuses (oops...I means 'reasons') to use the NB4. Not saying I'll get rid of the 7PX...but, just as my Hitec X2 AC Black became my backup/secondary charger after I purchased the iCharger 406 Duo, I could (potentially) see the 7PX becoming my 'secondary' Tx. Please, keep up the outstanding job...and I (plus countless others) will look forward to future 'chapters' in our "NB4 Video Users Manual". 👍🏼👍🏼 🤙🏼
Craig… you the man!!! Thanks for doing this. mine showed up today. I will watch this 4 or 5 times. And it’s going into my Sketer. 🤞🏻 thanks so much for doing this.
Great video thanks. I’ve got one of these and was going to put it in my drift car but went Yokomo V4. These would be great for on road and off road racing.
I've been waiting for this RX as It really completes the overall Noble package. Great video and your explanation of the "Priority" setting really helped. I'm also glad flysky made the RX full featured from day one and like you, I think the small form factor is ideal. I don't know of any other surface gyro receiver that's as feature packed as this one, they really thought it out. The "Priority" setting alone is such a great option as it can give you more of a hands off approach to stabilization yet still give you enough to keep those 2wd vehicles from spinning out. One thing I'd like to know is whether or not you can run that RX in "2 way, 2 channel" mode for improved latency or does the gyro processing reduce the response compared to the same setting on another RX like the FGr4S.
Great videos. Question. The INR4 GYB is 4 channel only, so what is an IBUS receiver for and will that allow me to have more channels for telemetry and led lights. I would like SVC and GYO functions. There is another voltage sensor that is a black and white wire that comes with the receivers. What is that for and do I also need to purchase CVT01? thanks in advance
The bvd black and white wire is for external voltage monitoring and has its own port so you don't lose a Ch, you could turn one of the channels into ibus and run the 4ch ibus add-on to get 7ch so no you don't need the cvt01 for voltage with them :)
So… I got it working out the car. Just a heads up, but maybe I’m missing something, but I’m not able to program in the controls assign menu short cuts for gain or on and off. I’m happy I can do it through the SVC icon on the radio.
In the video he assigns the svc controls to the transmitter variable pots, so you don't have to go to the menu and click and scroll, you just adjust the transmitter controls
Hey I'm following your steps but with NB4 (Not the Pro) I'm trying to assign the SVC but I cant find it for any buttons , any idea ? I have in the 2nd page SVC menu (calibration and more)
WOW, Thank you for your videos! They gave me the confidence I could set this up, so I just bought one! Any Chance you could run through this set up on the NB4? I get hung up at the assigning the SVC spot in the video. I understand this function in not available for the NB4 right now, but how do I continue on with the programing after this point?
@WTF RC Cars Do you know where these can be found now? I don't see them on US Amazon or anywhere. I'm in the US. Thanks for all your info on Noble in your videos.
I think they are sold in it everywhere hobbymatehobby.com/products/flysky-rc-noble-nb4-gyro-receiver-4-channels-inr4-gyb-for-flysky-nb4-noble-lite-noble-pro-radio-transmitter-afhds-3
I have the nb4 with latest update, but in the "assign" section "svc" does not show at all.... does those "svc" options under Assign only show on the Pro and not the NB4?
Yeh you can adjust it in the nb4 menus just not able to assign them to buttons like the pro can :) you still have full control of the settings though :)
Guy, I'm looking to replace my acoms technisport handset set which I use in my Tamiya falcon 😊 would this be good upgrade because I would still like to run the old girl 🤔
Hello. I was wondering for those drag racers if you use this and set the ESP on lock would it be a useful receiver for them the keep the vehicle straight going down the track?
@@WTFRCCars oh i didn't know about that as a rule, but could see it as a full driving experience to control the whole car. I came from slotcars where it's about cutting the .000 light and was thinking of making a 1/24 scale type rc drag car and portable track.(Christmas tree and timer lights. Don't think many could keep a 1/24-1/32 scale 110mph+++ car straight in 55 feet with out help and keep it in a 4 inch lane.
I have the NB4 (not Pro) and am unable to assign dials to the SVC function as shown with the NB4 Pro in this video. Wondering if you ever tried this? I am running 2.0.100 FCC on my tx.
Really depends and I'd always say try it at a slower speed to see how it reacts and then choose the setting that suits your driving :) the basics are normal it behaves like a standard gyro, locked it will try to lock the direction your wheel is pointing
Can You also daisy chain all Your sensors straight into the Rx? Is there any form of telemetry logging so You can view it after a run? Im not coming away from traxxas or arrma or losi(spektrum). Im running away as fast as I can. My NB4 is on its way.
I've just got done with a vid on the sensors will be live this week some time :), yes you can daisy chain the sensors all into one port but no there is no logging but it does have alarms for each sensor high and low so you get a warning when ever any sensor goes out of the monitoring range you set :)
If I knew FlySky would release this, I wouldn’t have spent money for another FGr4S… I might still look into one though. Been hoping for a gyro receiver since getting my NB4 a few months ago.
Where can I get these please bud I noticed you haven't left a link for them in description, are they out yet great upload 👍 I need one of these in my life thanks for sharing
I have updated transmitter and now trying to bind and it wont. Put the transmitter in binding mode, held the bind button and binding plug in and power on - nothing. what am i missing or is something at fault. please advise. -subscribed Thank you!
@@WTFRCCars Thank you for quick reply. after updating the transmitter the flysky assistant does not see the receiver so I can update it. Is there any other way to update the receiver? Thank you
@@WTFRCCars Just followed it to the letter and it has been binded - Thank you! Any idea why after a few turns of the wheel on the transmitter to the left it says signal lost. I turn the wheel left and when it returns to neutral the receiver led goes off. This does not happen when turning the wheel to the right.
My only issue is that I'm not seeing the SVC settings as options for button assignment on the NB4. I have the latest FCC firmware, so I'm wondering if only the NB4 Pro has this assignment option. Perhaps there's a firmware update due out for the NB4.
@@WTFRCCars Yep, that's mine. No ability to assign any SVC functions to button on the radio. This firmware precedes the release of the receiver. I suspect the next update will address this.
I'm having the same issue, there are no svc assignments available. And running current firmware. I didn't know if that option was only for the noble pro. But I'm waiting to find a solution. Hopefully someone can help
Thanks for your video! I Love your channel. Are there more Noble Pro Firmware updates ? I only see the 1.01 US Version for my Noble Pro but for my Noble I can update the 2.0.100 firmware version. :P
I'm running one and it works fine w/ my NB4. You have to go the SVC menu to access the settings once paried. But atm, can't assign any SVC functions to any buttons. I hope that will get fixed in the next firmware update.
So the nb4 needs to be on 2.0.100, assistant v3 is version 3.0.4 the receiver will bind to the nb4 on version 2.0.100 but you can't assign controls of the SVC functions to any buttons or dials the noble pro is the only transmitter that can do that the nb4 can't on any firmware.
Always update to the latest firmware or you will have strange issues like the RC working then after a few min it gets slower and then stops until you power off and back on :)
@@WTFRCCars thanks for the reply, do you know if flysky will do an update for the NB4 that will enable the switch use for the menu or will I have to upgrade to the PRO 😂
0 wiil prioritise keeping the vehicle from loosing grip so bigger turning circle, 100 will prioritise what you are doing so tighter turning radius but less stable :)

@@WTFRCCars So, I finally got one of these receivers to use with my NB4, binds up all good. However, I don't get any of the SVC options in the assignment menu. Any ideas?
