Nice explanation! Should help sort out the confusion out there. The one thing I'd like to know is, when using a digital servo and simply using the "digital" setting on the transmitter menu, what is the default value the radio uses? As long as I know what frequency the servo I have is using, I prefer to set the frequency myself to ensure best performance.
@@WTFRCCars Really? Then I'm glad I'm in the habit of setting my own frequency as I run Savox 1211 and they run at 333hz. 380hz shouldn't be too much of an issue problem but it does it cause it to overwork a bit and will cause it to be noisier than it has to be for an already noisy servo. Thanks brother 👍
How do i set up dual rate steering/throttle ? On my Spektrum dx8 i could have 3 different rates for steering and for throttle. How do i set such up on the noble pro?
Thank you, for clearing the up! I'm not surprised that more people were confused about that. This all feels like a limitation, put in on purpose, to make people buy more and/or other Flysky receivers.
Not sure what your referring to but flysky made the enhanced receivers 2 years after the original receivers as there a way to add new functionality to the radio and for servos that were not available when the original receivers are not capable of working with
Hey man, I just picked up a new Noble nb4+ and I don’t know which receiver I should get lol. Running mostly bashers like Xmaxx, Kraton 8s and other arrma 6s bashers. Could you help me out please, should I get one with the internal or external antenna? TIA
For the rc's like what you have probably best with the inr4-gyb as it's got SVC built in and all of the rc's you mentioned have a radio box and antenna so the inr4 GYB is a good match for what they come with too and small so it will fit in the original Rx box easy
@@WTFRCCars you’re the man! Thank you very much! I wasn’t even looking at that one, I was going to order the FGR4 v2’s lol. Greatly appreciate you taking the time to help me out!
It has some fantastic settings for stability control too and you can twerk them all from the transmitter also have the bvd cable to monitor you main lipo and have the voltage on the transmitter so you don't run them too low
Hello, I have to get a new remote something happened to my regular Fly Sky Noble just want to know will all my receivers be compatible with the new FlySky Pro?
Hi mate. A lot of the guys at my rc club say they turn down the speed of their steering servo to smooth things out as we have a very high traction track surface. I am trying to find the servo speed setting on the nb4. Have you covered this in one of your videos?
Does anyone know if you can program SW1 or SW2 to D/R 100% with the push of either button? I sometimes run a low D/R and in some instances need 100% quickly. Also, can you change the trigger throw to 80/20 instead of the 50/50?
i use GMR with NB4 it was just working fine untill it suddenly stopped working red solid light on GMR is lit it does not go in binding mode or force update mode as well its just solid red light and no connectivity to NB4 any help please?
The nb4 is fine for racing I run the pro just cos I have both so have my bashers on the nb4 and racing rc's on the pro :) depends if you want the extra features of the new V3 firmware on the pro really, you won't be disappointed with any of them.
I have a NB4 question for you as you seam to have I mastered. I have a pro boat harbor tug boat with a all in one 4 channel ESC receiver, it will run led lights on or off, and a water cannon pump also on or off. The LED’s have a three wire plug to a control board and out to the lights with a red and black, the water pump the same but also has a extra power supply. Now I swapped out the combo system for a dedicated ESC and Flysky 4 channel receiver hat came with my nb4, now no matter what setting I use on the radio to control the channel the lights just stay a constant on, the water pump I only tried once using the bind position for the separate power and it didn’t even turn on so left it and worked on getting the lights to work but couldn’t, they stay a constant on and can’t turn them off.
The bind plug can be used for power, I'd say your issue is the servo polling rate set too high or set on digital so it's too fast for the switches for the lights and water cannon, go into the menu for servos and set it to manual 300hz and it should work for you :) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE---237Paaokk.html
Really depends on what your using it for, if you only need 4ch then the fgr4b, if you want stability control then the inr4 GYB, if you need more than 4ch then the fgr8b :)
kinda off subject but what's your thoughts on the Pro vs standard NB4 for Drag racing, is it really worth the extra 2 Hundreds or so for the 3 stage launch or do you think the standard NB4 is sufficient enough? I'm really torn & if I'm gonna spend upwards 4-5 hund US dollars I might as well buy a Sanwa M17, unless the NB4 is just as capable for much less? Thanks for any help
Good question, I would say for drag racy your money is better spent on nb4 and better motor and ESC and runningparts.for the RC than a more expensive transmitter, a good ESC will have more useful settings for drag than any of the transmitters do :) but the pro does have many other features that are nice to have if you also have other rc's and it's not as simple as the price of the pro Vs a sanwa m17, the m17 doesn't have 18ch or many of the options the pro does, for example the pro can show what the channel is doing like lights on/off diff locked/open engine on/off and the receivers are far cheaper for the pro, the pro can also run upto 1000hz servos and flysky have only just started with the pro it will get more features as time goes on :) sanwa are very good transmitters too but very expensive so it really depends on the exact features you want hope this helps :)
@@WTFRCCars That helps a ton I really appreciate you getting back to me with all that information, I actually just purchased the NB4 but after realizing the Pro had the 3 stage launch I was kinda bummed out & debating on returning it. but I agree & I do use several settings in my esc for drag racing as well as Radio settings. but what I'm seeing is that almost all of the Top Drivers at KOTS King of streets in Las Vegas /Kansas etc, there all running the Sanwa M17 & using its settings exclusively to win these 20 plus thousand dollar races... I was kinda hoping the NB4 would have the 3 stage & I would be able mix that as a less expensive option with my esc settings. but I'll probably keep I love everything else about it for the money, although I was told now that the Pro's out will most likely never see anymore updates for the NB4, I hope that's not the case but wldnt surprise me... Thanks soo much for all your help Brother !!
