In this test I used the Flywoo Atomic 130mm LHCP antenna (Drone) and stock DJI antennas (Goggles).
The Caddx Vista was set to 1000mw, low latency, 50Mbps and focus mode was turned off.

Now this was the test I've been wanting to see! And all that distance on stock antennas!.: You could of easily kept going! Very impressive.

Yes I could probably get to 5KM but it was a hot day and I didn't want to push it too far. I will keep testing it :-)

I'd imagine that the other antenna upgrades would hold a higher bitrate for the 4km if we were to compare.

Great test. Will be exiting to see how the soon to be released iFlight 4inch (Chimera4?) LR will compare. Prototype testing has reports of 11 min on small batteries and over 20min on larger ones. I hope you can make a vs test when released. I see many having issues with Flywoo customer service so personally I’m waiting on iFlight.

Nice! I notice you’re using RHCP on the quad and the stock LHCP on the goggles. For some reason the DJI system doesn’t seem to care about that mismatch but theoretically that would cause a 3dB loss in signal.

Hey Gal, have you done a range test with default settings and 700mw? I am getting only about 300 to 400m in line of sight in mine :(

Hi, you should definitely get more than 400m. I suggest trying to fly in a different environment and to check if the antenna is not damaged.

Hey, great flight Gal, really enjoyed it, however, I would be worried I wouldn't be able to find my way back or if it went down somewhere along the way. That's a lot of ground to cover to try and find it. lol

Thanks Shane. I know this area like the palm of my hand. It also very important to monitor the distance and home direction on long range flights and in addition this quadcopter is equipped with a buzzer with a built in battery which is very useful for finding a lost drone in case of a crash. The GPS coordinated are also sent to the Radio Controller using telemetry so in case things went wrong most of the chances are that I could have recovered it :-)

@@KremerFPV That's excellent and exactly what I need on my quads. I lost one a week or so ago and I still trying to get over it lol What's the smallest quad that you could have a GPS and a buzzer with backup battery on? All of my quads are quite small 3"

How do you see your GPS co-ordinates on your DJI goggles? Your flight time with this was average (about 9 minutes). I thought this thing was 30 minutes?

I didn't test the flight time in this video, just the range. You can configure the OSD and set it to show the GPS coordinates, but you can't record this data to the DVR.

It does, it just doesn't show in the dvr. That's how it is with dji dvr, you only get simple stuff like google batt, drone batt, signal quality, etc. But it is expected to come in a update soon though.

The latest update enabled most of the useful OSD elements such as home direction, gps speed, distance and etc. Unfortunately the data that is recorded to the srt file contains only the signal strength, channel, battery voltage and number of cells (drone and goggles), bit rate and flight time in seconds. I hope that DJI will improve it and come out with better way to overlay relevant data on the flight footage.

@@KremerFPV Hi Gal and thanks for the reply. I am not planning on building one right now, maybe in 3-6 months. At the moment I have an Avant Kirra 2.5 and a GEPRC Skip 3 HD that I wouldn't mind having a bit more insurance on, particularly while I am still honing my flying skills.
