I hear technician hams say all the time, "I'm just a tech" or "I'm just a tech so just local repeaters for me" both could farther from the truth.
In today's video we will get on HF thats open for techs. Not only that but we are not going to be on SSB, or CW, or even FT8. Today we will be utilizing FM.

10 meter FM is nice for when you’re nearby for rag chew. That squelch really does come in handy. Although you can’t beat that SSB efficiency

SSB will always be the king but there is a niche for FM

A lot of hams downplay the Technician license but if you know how to take advantage of it you can have lots of fun on different bands and in different modes.

I agree and that's why I put these videos out. Nothing wrong with 2M/440 repeaters but there's alot more to experiment. Thanks for the comment and 73.
