Got a pair of FMA7600 laptops that have issues with the PCMCIA slots.
In this case, this FMA7600 doesn't boot with a card installed, but the other boots without issues with it and it would disconnect and connect the PCMCIA cards, even though they are inserted.
This video describes the problem I'm facing and I checked everything for corrosion and other signs of failure and everything looks fine. The questions are: where is the issue coming from? Why is it doing this? When can this get fixed? Whodunit? What part is dead? How can this get fixed for good?
