this one was a Zippy COmpact 2200mah 25C - but I also use high C ratings up to and including 70c. I am not concerned with the Kingfisher as it will take any of my 2200mah batteries
you told me to ask again about which one you like more the FMS SuperEZ or this one hehe so do you have an answer bro? I just love hearing people's opinion that's why I ask :3
Indeed I did - and after changing my trousers, and doing some meditation regarding FLAPS - it has to be this one - apart from being LARGER all around its a real cool aircraft - it take take off on in a few feet or as I did in this video a nice long run - BUT you must watch out for those FULL FLaps - caught me day dreaming , the funny thing is with this one I just want to keep on flying it - its much more than the Super EZ - but then again it is more expensive.... its a bit like this Super EZ 8.5 , Kingfisher 9.5..LOL....
As did mine - but if I feel a three blade prop will suite the Aircraft better, then I will ways replace the two blade for a Three blade and keep the two blade that came with it as a spare - especially on my tail draggers and WWII aircraft... - this is a master Airscrew three blade 10 x 7 prop - there is an equation to calculate the prop size you will need when going from a two to a three blade - but a quick method is just drop 1inch from the Size and it will work fine - so the Kingfisher comes with a two blade 11 x 7 - I replaced it with a three blade 10 x 7...Oh and I guess it goes without saying - but I am going to say it - watch out for the flaps - they are very Very Effective........
@@FlankerTanker Thank you Sir, I have used master Airscrew props before, 11x7 on my Kingfisher now because I landed in a tree first flight and broke the one that came with it....lol
Hi I got the items from eBay two different sellers quite sometime ago so no link (sorry) - but just search for three blade prop and make it 1" less than the two blade it came with - (I use Master Airscrew) . No it does not give it more power, in fact a three blade prop is less efferent than a two blade, I change them out because I prefer the looks of a three blade over a two on this type of aircraft , I keep the same pitch - but you could do a pitch change (up by 2) and still be safe. thanks for watching and leaving your comment.
@@FlankerTanker hahahahahahaha. Dont you made me laugh so much I'm coughing me lungs up I can just imagine your wife sniffing AV YOU TROD IN SOMETHING MARTYN.... hahahahahha Priceless
I seen you have a 3-blade prop from master airscrew and i just broke my prop so i was wondering if i would have to change my spinner if i used a 2 blade 11 x 7 master airscrew prop or if the stock one would work thanks
Don't know this is an old video , since making this one I have replaced the prop nut shown with a spinner for a three blade prop. guess the worst case is you might have to trim the two balde spinned a little or replace it with a prop nut.....
ALERT.... ALERT..... CODE RED... TO THE FIELD BROWN TROUSERS AND A BUCKET N SPADE REQUIRED AT THE FIELD BECAUSE I NEW THE OUT COME I HAD TO LAUGH...... YOU WERE ABOUT 3FT FROM A BIN BAG..... RULE NUMBER 1. LEAVE THEM FLAPS ALONE UNLESS YOUR A 1000 FT UP...... BLOODY GOOD VIEWING THOUGH... Brian
When one does stupid things like this , you only have a few seconds (if you are lucky) to make the call on what to do - I decided to continue the outside loop and got away with it (out of pure luck) but man what a rush !!!! LOL - I cannot wait to try a take off on full flaps !!!! but not right now thank you - this is enough excitement for one flying session... Stay well Brian (sorry if I spoilt the surprise) - did not think .....
@@FlankerTanker hahahahahahaha Martyn you done exceptionally well to correct your kite.... Its at times like this PURE INSTINCT TAKES OVER AND THAT CAN'T BE TAUGHT.
