I had purchased the Pro but ended up having to send it back because the button you press for the smoke was laying in the case when I received it. It's possible it was a return I got since there was some cloud formula residue in the smoke chamber. I did manage to use the remote to evaluate the unit before returning it and this is what I think. First the concept is very good. A small compact unit using a proprietary smoke/ fog liquid that puts out very good output for such a small unit. Using the included 18650 works very well but if you provide your own 18650 batteries make sure the + side is flat. Not all 18650s will fit properly. The accessories are nice and work as described. Sorry but the blower fan is ultra cheap quality. The smoke chambers which I received in glass (I think they might have changed them to poly) are very well made but the holders for before and after use are designed wrong. The top and bottom does not screw on and that that is why people drop and break them. Not because they are glass. The unit itself is cheap feeling using brittle plastic. It does not feel like a unit used by professionals who spend hundreds of thousands of dollars in top notch photo and cine equipment. No complaints with its function. I have no doubt it will evolve to a professional tool. But for $795 for the kit not worth it for me.

I build prototype of powerful battery powered fog machine (check my channel if you want for test video) and everything you said about safety and issues with making this work is true. It's very time consuming and difficult to make this not overheat, not melt, not fire hazard. My prototype works, but is not reliable, temperature reading is still buggy and I understand why price of your unit is what it is.

I think it would be nice to have the fan be able to attach to the end so you don’t need two hands to operate? Also I’m loving the idea of this thing! If you’d ever love to team up please let me know. I run a very unique portrait studio as well as the photographer for all the work of one of the largest school districts in the country. I can think of so many cool applications. I’m sure we could find some cool ways to team up. Thanks
