FONDANT BEGINNERS - Make GREY and BROWN Fondant | with PRIMARY COLORS 

How to make a GREY and BROWN coloured fondant?
1. You can buy coloured - ready Fondant.
For Grey you will need Black and White fondant. ( other colours for undertone )
Light Grey
White : Black with ratio 8 : 1
( For my Elephant Topper and Cat Topper, they used GREY with Blue undertone, you can achieve it by mixing
White : Black : Blue with ratio 8 : 1 : 1 )
2. You can use food coloring.
Buy black and brown food colouring.
Always add small amount food colouring first, add more for more intense color.
GEL food colouring work best.
3. You can make them with PRIMARY COLOUR Fondant.
GREY
Step 1
First make medium DARK GREY.
Blue : Red : Yellow
with ratio 2 : 1 : 0.5
Step 2 ( making GREY Elephant Topper )
After that mix white : dark grey : blue
With ratio 3 : 1 : 0.5
Tips :
When make grey, if it turned purplish add lil bit more yellow.
If it turned maroon/brownish add lil bit more blue.
BROWN
red : yellow : blue
with ratio 2:1:1 .
Tips : experiment with small portion of your fondant first. Intense primary color fondant will make darker brown. To make lighter colour just mixed it with white fondant.
