the bit i never understand is when they approach you and ask questions why do they always go negative instead of listening and embracing the free advertisement and show the company in a good light, this company would benefit from better training or sacking this numpty as the letting him wear hi viz has turned him (in his mind) into someone thats important and his word is all that matters, stay safe KF and keep up the good work

Try to remain clam when you are confronted. You get very defensive and your voice gets quite shaky. It probably not as easy as it looks but you can try to work on those things. It will improve your videos if you can stay calm and articulate when confronted by public and police. You can say you are gathering content for a story. Good work though mate, defending our rights!
Does the guy filming you think it’s a good use of his time? He could have taken one photo and returned to work. What an idiot. Wonder what his boss thinks of his use of his paid hours.
Why are they all afraid of being videoed. Almost like they have something to hide, yet most businesses have CCTV camera's videoing everyone who enters their premise's including all the shopping malls and supermarkets. So, we all know videoing in public is not illegal. Why not tell them you are doing a documentary about their business to alleviate their so called concerns. They might even invite you in for the publicity aspect. LOL.
@Kiwi Freedom. Like you i'm an old Law Enforcement Officer from way back.(MoT.) Nothing fazes me. I quite like your programme and i understand what you're doing but, personally i couldn't be bothered. I know the law very well as you do. It's interesting. I'm 82. Love to meet you one day. not strictly true, and our law follows US law here too, its a about the sanctity of the home a place of refuge should not be invaded, there is case law on it, sure candid shots are ok, but park yourself filming someones lounge for and hour or two odds you will lose if they sue you. No need for registered auditors. Once you start doing that it defeats the purpose of what Kiwi Freedom is trying to point out. You register auditors, the next thing the government starts making rules around what they think is allowable. You then get tied up in their red tape and restrictions.
goodman fielder should end this person's employment as he obviously doesn't do any work considering he prefers to stand on a road being childish because he can't get his own way, you have to ask yourself whats going on in the business that they are so paranoid
