This is so positive it hurts.

Pat Smear is a relatively unsung hero. His work in The Germs was visceral and thrilling. He also made the In Utero tour what it was adding that extra layer of sound, incredible stage presence and energy. And then in videos like this, you see just how much personality he really does bring to everyone he plays with, without ever stealing the spotlight. Pat, we love you.

This song aged like fine wine. One of my favorite Foo Fighters song.

Got to love how these guys never take themselves too seriously. From this 1996 "Big Me" music video to 2022's Studio 666 film. No band seems to deliver entertainment quite like Foo Fighters.

As unfortunate as Kurt Cobain's demise was, I'm so glad David Grohl didn't give up on music. I can only imagine what Nirvana could have evolved into had Kurt overcome his depression mixed with his band mates growing musical contributions to their sound. This song (and the Foo Fighters' career) further epitomizes that through the ashes of despair and mourning can come a sense of rebirth and positive growth.

Rest in Peace Taylor Hawkins! I love the energy of this band and I'm grateful that you were an integral part of that.

Fun fact on this album foo fighters was a solo project. Dave created it as a distraction after falling into depression after Kurt's death. He did all the instruments himself. But formed the band when it came to playing live and it's been so ever since.

This song holds a special place in my heart since it's one of the earliest childhood memories I have. I remember listening to this song on MTV while my brothers where getting ready for school. I feel old now lol.

January 2022 and this song is still as amazing and epic as it was when it was released!! Ironically this was the first Foo Fighters song myself and my son had ever heard!! Absolutely nostalgic and timeless, gotta run and grab some Footos now.....everyone enjoy this masterpiece🤘🔥❤

Can’t listen to this song without smiling

I just robbed a bank and as I was being pursued by police who were about to open fire, I opened a pack of Footos and smiled at them, and they smiled back and let me off. This story is true.

This song fills my heart with so much joy... It reminds me of such a great time in my life. Oddly enough, things weren't so great for me, but they eventually picked up and I had a really good woman at my side.

William Goldsmith is an amazing drummer and honestly should still be a member of the band. Dave did him wrong. He was not perfect but that is what music is all about.

This car lift actually happened to me. I was on my way to school and could not get my Le Car, with a little flip convertible on top, into a spot. 4 guy friends walked by on their way to school. They told me to park next to the open space. They lifted my car in while I was actually still in the car! I tried to get out, but they lifted before I could. Crazy! They came back out and lifted it out when I left, too. One of the guys who lifted my car into and out of the space was the.guy who worked at the advertising agency that did this commercial for Mentos. I kidded with him when I saw him later that he owed me and the other guys commission for his ad idea. 😀 I smile every time I see this commercial. Takes me back to being a teen in my first car. Plus, to have it parodied by the Foo Fighters in their music video is pretty cool! And almost surreal!

The video's success led to many fans throwing Mentos at the band whenever they played the song live.For an extended period of time, the band did not play the song live due to this, as Grohl cited: "We did stop playing that song for a while because, honestly, it's like being stoned. Those little … things are like pebbles - they hurt." The band only started to change its mind after Weezer started performing "Big Me" during the Foozer tour both bands did together.
