❤ Like others have said, the studio version is much faster than this version and is what I think your looking for. This slower version is really cool but you won't appreciate it as much if you have heard the faster studio version. Hope to see you react to it!

The best thing about seeing the Foo's live is that Dave wants everyone to sing along and be part of the show. Trying to give the fans a special experience so they can feel closer to the band. Every song, every show is different. It's what makes them one of the best live shows out there. However , not the best reaction with live songs. It's hit or miss reacting to live foo songs. But at least you get to know what the Foo's are all about. Their fans. And giving their fans the best show.

whoever suggested this version to be your first time hearing this song made a mistake. you fall in love with the original first and then this becomes amazing. and honestly daves solo version at Taylor Hawkins tribute would have been the way to go after hearing the studio version first

I absolutely love this song, but the studio version really needs to be heard to properly appreciate the live versions. Dave's voice isn't what it used to be + after 25 years of playing the same song, his live versions can be a bit more improvised.

The crowd was having the time of their lives! He was playing with them, leading up to the big ending. I personally would have loved to have been there.

One of those songs where you simply had to be there to feel the build up, and just so amazing live. The most emotional I have ever felt at a concert. RIP Taylor

"And I wonder, when I sing along with you, If everything could ever feel this could feel this real forever. If anything could ever be this good again." Love this song, and that line. It not only speaks to the song, but is speaking TOO the crowd who always sings along. "when I sing along with you". And This is my favorite rendition he's done. And this specific rendition is so intimate, and feels so much more a love song to the fans. This moment on stage is one of those that makes me wish I wouldn't have given up on music. To have that much crowd interaction love and passion... just amazing. This is the closing of almost every concert they've done. Because Dave doesn't like to say goodbye, this song is his goodnight. Oh and Bliss, you might like this one for the meat you were craving more, same conert: Foo Fighters - Best Of You (Live At Wembley Stadium, 2008)

Yeah, the original album version starts a little harder out of the gate, and I prefer that honestly. Honestly, the entire album is great from front to back and one of the best albums of the 90s. Their song Monkey Wrench is a particular favorite.

However, at times, it is my favorite rendition depending on the mood I am in. Thank you for your reaction and honest opinion. I think it is both boring and insincere when reactors love every song they listen to. Nobody loves every song they've ever listened to. Even the most ravenous fans of a band will dislike certain songs in that band's catalog. Keep up the good work.

i was never big into the foos, i moved to the city with a few friends, and one of them loved the foos. he gave me a ticket to this tour, i took it reluctantly.......one of the best live shows i've ever seen. that setup with the catwalk on stage really gave an experience to the whole building too.

This version was done at the end of a day long concert full of many many artists in celebration of the life of the late Foos drummer Taylor Hawkins. Dave is absolutely gutted singing this song. The whole show is in the Paramount streamer if ur in America.

I really love your reactions. Sometimes I really wish I could hear songs again for the first time :). Everlong is one of my favourite Songs. I have to say I don´t like this version! It gives me the same feelings as you had. It is like you "trick a donkey with a carrot and a stick". The studio version has so much power. You should really listen to this. Biss, Dave is MY Rock & Roll husband😂 Here's the Foo Fighters concert stuff you'd love - Dave Grohl on drums, Taylor Hawkins (Foo Fighters drummer RIP) on vocals ---- ready.... Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin guitar) & John Paul Jones (Led Zeppelin bass) singing the Led Zeppelin song "Rock & Roll" at Wembley. They all kill it & Dave looks like a kid in a candy store while drumming with his idols.
