Yes Dave Grohl was drummer for Nirvana (also plays drums for Queens of the Stone Age - sometimes). Not only a great band but Dave is a great person. I'm in South Africa and he's one of the few great rock bands that actually made an effort to play down here. Awesome concert - almost 3 hours of pure rock. Always has my respect. As for other great songs - yes - just pick any.
Last Foo Fighters story. Late night talk show host David Letterman retired a few years back. Foo Fighters were his favorite band, and he wanted them to come perform on his final show, but they were on tour in South America. But the band decided to hop on a plane, fly to NY and perform at his final show anyway because they were friends and because it was important to David. They performed Everlong (Letterman's favorite song) over a montage of moments from Letterman's show from the past 20 years. Definitely worth checking out.

I had the pleasure to watch them live, 4-5 years before Hawkins passed-away... They simply gave one of the best live-shows i've ever witnessed by any Rock n' Roll band to this day! Pure! Simple! And almost non-stop for about 2:30 hours! That was a true fkn experience!❤

I love the Foos so much, and Taylor's death still hits me hard when I think of it. I met Dave briefly at a Farmer's Market, of all places, with his mom and kids and he was just the nicest guy, living up to his reputation. This is definitely one of my favorite songs of theirs, but they have so many. As much as Taylor's absence will be felt by all their fans, I'm so glad they decided to not break up and are going back out on the road.

So many great songs in the Foo’s catalogue, just a damn good rock n roll band. People have mentioned songs like ‘Monkey Wrench’, ‘Everlong’ etc, but ‘Halo’ is worth a listen, too.
👋 I love their energetic songs, cool story, David went for f8rst and only drum lesson, teacher told him, you're holding the sticks wrong, he said to himself, not going to pay 30$ for this, so he said I went home and learned drumming listening to lots of rush and from neil peart/ the professor 👍I guess his decision paid off lol

A group of rockers called Rockin' 1000 in Italy got together and performed "Learn to Fly" in an effort to get the attention of Dave and the band because they wanted them to come perform in their area. It got their attention, and what did they do? They went their and performed.
Yes he was the drummer of Nirvana. Grohl also recorded an album (playing drums), Songs for the Deaf, of a band called Queens of the Stone Age (QOTSA) . From this album i recommend, No One Knows, Go with the Flow.
Great song. And an astonishingly aggressive mix. I loved it the day it came out. Dave Grohl is essentially an oldskool rocker. And I love him for this intuitive approach to music that is what we all did in the 80s and early 90s, and he always stood true to this. He knows how to do it. Nice reaction, Biss. I would have been surprised if you did not like this song. A very memorable masterpiece of rock music. Although I am into more extreme metal nowadays, I am still a huge FooFighters fan. Because it is just a fantastic band with great songs. Grab ANY FooFighters song on YT, and it might be a great reaction.

This song is awesome. Dave Grohl has always been interested in UFOs and ‘foo fighters’ was a phrase used by pilots in WW2 to describe mysterious objects they saw in the sky.
All their songs are great, but in my opinion, one of their best and underestimated songs is 'Rope'. If you liked the energy of 'The Pretender' then you will love this one.
I guess Monkeywrench was the first Foo single and video. Hooked since then and amazed how the funny looking drummer from Nirvana pulled it off as lead. Super talented. Aand a suggestion, they warmed up for Foos a while ago. the Warning and song Disciple live from Taetro Metropolitano.
This brings me back to when I was in Military service, it illustrates an immovable wall smashing into another immovable object. I was on both side, Riot control and later as Riot itself! Great lesson in military.
While it's definitely kinda quietly respected I feel like Daves song writing isn't talked about nearly enough, the Foo's have have some absolute genuine bangers in their repertoire. check out Low, Monkey Wrench, All My Life and My Hero
You should absolutely check out "Walk" and "These Days" by them. More recent, and more of lessons we've learned feel to them, but with the same energy.

Foo Fighters is a great band! Dave Grohl is a great musician... In the first album, he record all the instruments... Another song I love, is Everlong... (of course there are a lot more ;-) )

Welcome to the lovely person named David Grohl. Yes, you were right, he was the drummer for Nirvana. He might also be my favourite person on Earth, aside from my family, of course. The reason the other reaction video of Foo is because their drummer, Taylor Hawkins (Active with them from 1997-2022) died. They have since replaced him with Josh Freese, who is possibly one of the best drummers on earth, with a back catalogue as long as your arm.
The song is great. Foo Fighters have been a staple for a decade. The drumming has been a constant. Also I must say your reactions are fun to watch. Let's not gloss over the obvious is that your stunningly beautiful and appears so fun to hang with. Insta isn't half bad either
