Foo Fighters Hyde Park - My Hero To watch the whole show, go to my Foo Fighters At Hyde Park Playlist, Also check out the video response for this by 'craigdetroi'
Had to come back here and relieve one of Taylor's awesome drumming! His angst against the drum kit always keep my eyes on him playing. RIP Taylor! Thanks for your music sir!
You and me both, John ! B. Rich, K. Moon, J. Bonham, J. Porcaro, N. Mensa, C. Burr, N. Peart, J. Jordison, now T. Hawkins. How fortunate we were to have had your thunder on earth, for a while.
I was there. 8 months pregnant and having the time of my life and TOTALLY in love with Dave Grohl. 4 years later my sons is having drums lessons and showing great apptitude! coincidence?
The Eternal Rock n Roll Girl. Holy Orpheus & Cytherea HOW WE NEED more of them now, and at least Taylor went out smiling despite "antidepressants" which, O Dear, no one should need having the Flower and the Weed.
I got to see the Foo in Memphis at the Forum 2 years ago and this makes me want to buy a ticket to whereever they are playing tonite and just GO!!! FOO FTW!!!
without a doubt my favourite Foo Fighters intro. The drum solo sends shivers down my spine every time I watch this!! I saw these guys live and everyone was on their feet.
I have to give it this band. They are SO loyal to their fans and never fail to give 100% to their fans especially when they are live. AMAZING....Exhausting as you seem to spend the concert jumping around! Totally worth every bit of energy!
Saw these guys live, never really liked the song until then. The emotion and just singing along was the best experience I ever had in my life, and now whenever I hear this song I need to just get up and shout.
My Cousin went to this gig and told me it was absolutely unbelievable....and i had no doubt in my mind at all! Foo Fighters are such as awesome band they really are =) do you not agree????
Damn, they are freaking awesome, yesterday me and one buddy of mine totally hangover with splitting headache watched them, and just started to mash around :D Damn, it hurts to headbang with headache, but it was so fun, because their music is so full of energy
I watched a video of the Foos playing this song back when William Goldsmith was still the drummer... God, Taylor joining the band was one of the best thing that could have happened for them. Just look up My Hero at the Modena Open Air Festival 1995 and you'll see what I mean. I also love how Taylor starts teasing the crowd around 2:55 XD
I've been a fan of The Foo's sice summer 2004. I saw a live show of them on tv from a festival here in Norway, and now they are coming again this summer! And this time I get to see them live for the first time! I'm really exited:D I can't wait:D:D
so fucking awesome to hear sooooo many people sing the song at the same time ....damn,,,that was just amazing,,,,I always wanted to see these guys in a concert cause they don't just play there songs,,,they make a fucking show ,,,
My Hero is an awesome song, but i've seen Foo Fighters live twice and each time they've played My Hero as an acoustic track. It was excellent both times, but next time i see them i REALLY hope they do it as a rock song like here!
damn, i haven't watched this concert in a while. i think i know this whole thing by heart. when it was on direct-tv on network live, i watched it 24/7. that's how i became as in love with them as i am now. all thanks to this concert......and direct-tv, lol.
This will forever remain the greatest version of my hero IMO. You couldn't ask for a better intro of this song coming out of an epic drum solo and then them just ripping it out the way they did. Imagine the absolute euphoria going through Taylor's head in this moment, what an absolute machine. I always come back to this clip to feel the power of music and put a smile on my face. Long live the foos, long live Taylor Hawkins.
It was crzy but I saw these guys open for the Red Hots and Foo's blew them OFF the stage...prob best show I ever saw! (1st union arena in Wilkes Barre, PA)
