You had to be there to realise the emotion and volume of support that the crowd gave Dave to continue, and once he did, Wembley Stadium was literally bouncing on its foundations. This was just one of many incredible moments on an unforgettable night!.
Bang on, it's hard to explain the feeling at that moment. It broke me man. What an incredible day to pay tribute to Taylor though. I feel so lucky I was able to attend.
You know, I have watched so many youtubers filming this and each time, I can't keep from bawling. Watching Dave is so gut wrenching and what bravery to do this and keep going through the song. None of us know what the Foo's plans are for their future and no one can replace Taylor; but, if it happens that they continue, wouldn't it be amazing if Rufus Taylor would become their drummer since Taylor was his mentor as Roger was to Taylor. I know, I know, Rufus has his own band!!! So much to this.... Love you Taylor as well as Dave and the rest of he Foos.
Would be amazing. When Springsteen & The E-Street Band lost Clearence Clemons his own neqhew stepped in to play saxophone for the "Big Man" which feels like an ongoing tribute to Clemons.
@@elisabethdierkes7047 I have to say Clarence was awesome in his own talent; so, I agree. I love music and so eclectic; but, I am definitely a diehard Foo Fan. Yes, I have cried over Taylor and don't even know the man; but, I know talent and have read a lot about him. His peers have shown the love and what seems to me that he was an amazing man. As for Dave, read his book which I have. He, from what I have read and heard, is an amazing person, also. Thank you for the reply and have an amazing day.
Barb I'm 48, I had a tear in my eye at this last night, couldn't even talk. I'm the same right now watching this. As for Rufus it would be poetic but would he even want to do it? We just have to wait and see.
Shane Hawkins could replace, after he turns 18 :) Watch his My Hero with them if haven't ;) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-P2KnD7sfpoA.html
@@macman6107 Yes, I know. Rufus has his own band; but, the connection he has with them, is so obvious. You are right, have to wait and see. This is so heartbreaking. Thank you for your reply.
Dave is the shining example of Survival of the Fittest. Taylor was killer energy on tap and him and Dave's brotherhood was honest and easy for all to see. Dave, stay strong, spend rad time with your family, and don't stop writing awesome rock anthems and keep playing. Taylor, God speed and spend some quality time with Mr. John Bonham. I'm sure you guy's will have a lot to talk about.
estos recitales tributo si los hacen en argentina o chile serian inolvidables por la fiesta que se armaría con un publico total, en europa y eeuu el publico esta muerto....
