We went to Ipoh last weekend for a day trip just for the food... we had a food coma by the time we reached back to KL

@@FoodandFootprintswelcome to my hometown. My parents actually owns a homestay although not right at the city centre like the Grayhaus. Missing Ipoh, especially the food so much. My last trip back in ipoh was during Chinese New Year in February. Had not been able to Go back due to the pandemic situation. Really hoping the situation can be under control before Christmas 🎄 and get to go back to visit my parents. Would be great if the #FoodTravelWarriorsAbroad can gather over in Ipoh 😉

You must also go to the royal town of Kuala Kangsar. And do the Anthony Burgess' trail starting from MCKK and around Kuala Kangsar. Anthony Burgess once taught there before he became a famous writer.

Welcome to my hometown 😃. The majestic building behind the football scenes is my Alma Mater (St. Michael Institution). For less sweet, please ask for Kopi C ( they will use evaporated milk instead of condensed milk so it will be less sweet)

That was too much breakfast for three even for Malaysian standard.. I think ..err. You need to try durian tart if you can find one! Yummy! 😁

We did see some durian tarts being sold but we decided to go for the egg tart, it was a mistake 😂 not a big fun of those 🙈 But breakfast was delicious specially the dim sum 😁😁

Oh yeah, i heard Portuguese egg tarts are crazy delicious. Learned it from a YT channels, Binging with Babish: Egg tarts from The Last Airbender. He makes the ones similar to the show, and then makes the best version of egg tarts, in this case Portuguese egg tarts.
