What am I missing, you have the default Quick Capture set to last used, so you must have hit the screen by accident to change it to single lens. Do you lock the screen when you're filming?
This sounds like an issue I would/have had. Good to know it can happen to anyone but sucks either way. I'm sold on Insta360 You also look really happy on the bike now 😎
Ouch That blows. I had a memory card of mine get corrupted from one of my runs and even had a snake encounter. Was so excited to share but that memory card was toast. Technology! Am I right? Glad you got it figured out.
Bummer that it wasnt a positive experience. Good info though. I have been wanting to vlog more about my running/cycling in addition to shoe insights and this is really good information.
Super annoying about the GoPro, I'm still using my Hero 8 & 99% of the time it's spot on 👌 Don't think I'll be try the Max out. Good haul of kit you got there Mike 👍🏃
you're too kind with your review of the gopro hero max. lol 👍 if i had that experience with it over the years the review would not be as favorable explaining the whys of usability problems. poorer footage with the insta360 is better than no footage.
0:00 You could fall so hard filming like that on a bike, if you hit a pothole, rock or something unexpected happens. Big chance your steer will fold in on itself. Just don't want to see you get hurt and be out of the game. Have a nice day man!
Very good reasons to quit cycling altogether. All those things could happen to me without holding a camera. The most dangerous thing that happened to me on this ride was when I almost dropped a bottle, trying to get it back into the cage
@@kofuzi Well that's the point. Those things will probably happen to you. I was 2 when I got my first little bike and I'm 32 now. I don't own a drivers license and do everything on my bike. From city bikes to mountain bikes and road bikes, i have crashed them all. Luckily never at high speed but some of them where still ugly. From crashing my city bike into the back of a car in a rainstorm and losing some teeth to having my MTB land on my back. Your not protected by seat belts and airbags and I don't think you would be vlogging in your car like this. What I'm tying to say is, when you bike you gotta be prepared to take a hit, and when it goes wrong you don't want to be holding a camera like that because it makes things very unstable and hard to react. We already have to eat and drink on a bike and I would say lets keep it at that. Then there is of course the fact that you are on public roads so imo you also ow it to your fellow commuters to ride you bike as safe as you can. Hitting someone while filming or drinking from a bottle wont be looked at in the same way. Not trying to hate or anything, just want you to be safe and have fun.
My wife and a I do a lot of riding and running as well. Looking to get our first action / 360 camera. She does do Instagram so it would be helpful for her. Any recommendations? Love the channel 👍🏼.
@@attackedbywaterfoul No shade intended. For years I thought a higher cadence was more efficient but all the studies say it's not so the only reason for higher cadence is that it looks cooler. I'm just pretty sure it looks cooler in slo-mo too.
@@kofuzi We know your turnover speed is just fine. What you probably need to get used to is just the sensation of not actually applying much force as compared to running.
