Only muscle meat can be make into jerky. Brain can be dried but after the process its only good for seasoning soups and staff but blood can be made into gelatin or something like candy and it's a really good snack and its really healthy.

I don't like sand. It's coarse and rough and irritating - and it gets everywhere. The podcast is an exception though, I love sands podcast!

Hi, I'm Numarcius, I'm the DM my friend Azrial mentioned in the second shoutout of Coffee Time! Thank you all so much for reading his message, the Wild Beyond the Witchlight campaign I'm running is my first time ever DMing and my second ever D&D campaign I've participated in! We're running it on Table Top Simulator, and yes, for that dance party minigame, it heavily took inspiration from DDR and Space Channel 5, using d6s with custom fairy wing arrows and chromatic rose free sides! I set a pattern down and the party get to roll dice equal to their Performance modifier, where I use Yahtzee rules to let them try and match patterns of 4-8 notes in two rolls in order to win! It was a blast and I was so giddy seeing my players happily frantically roll their dice together! Again, thank you for the shout out, I teared up a bit cuz it really feels like the custom content I put in to bridge certain chapters of the campaign really feel appreciated and my hard work pays off!

I've had pig's brain soup when I was in Vietnam. The broth was quite flavourful - mostly similar is taste and texture as the broth used for Shark's Fin soup, the bits of brain themselves were soft and fat-like. The brain pieces had a slightly metallic/blood-like taste.

You'd think brains would be chewy, but they're more mushy when you take a bite out of it. It's kind of like Mushy jello, with some strands that get stuck in your teeth. If you've cooked it properly, it should be very juicy. Or if you want to go raw, then very, very squishy. And juicy. That's where the chewy comments come from if you don't cook it at all/properly.

Oh man. This was quite the episode. We got some lore, some character development, and even some plot progression! I'm super stoked to -see- hear what the Arena is like and what/who Kor and Roøster are up against! (Abismal chickens)

Also, random thought child of mine: Nellthor is a reincarnation of Xanu looking for his Gothica, who was shunted through time and space long ago, and he's still searching. He has been searching so long that even his thought to be immortal body has withered and decayed, only to be saved by a controlled reincarnation and becoming undead or becoming a pseudo-lich voldemort style so be could continue his search for any trace of his oldest friend.

Now that I think about it dingo loves to do chaos little gremlins caractère or mentally be one I don’t know about the shy arachnids but I would love to hear her story even if we know how gullible she is (being offered a potion to heal someone from a evil looking person who lives in a evil looking place is pretty stupid)

After all, he briefly ask Kore if he could kill a genie, which he may have suspected Rooster to be even if he seemed to lack obvious “PHENOMENAL COSMIC POWER!!!” as Neera does, which can be attributed to his centuries of experience. 43:08, It would’ve been funny if the weapon Kore was sent after ended up being the sword the weird Gollum clone was after. 44:22, Counting Rooster eating the blue sand while Felix was describing Neera’s side of the desert, this is the second time an epic moment has been undercut by one of the two main characters. 45:29, Kore getting to empathize with his contact wanting to enjoy life a bit longer as he delayed his own mission to enjoy being on the surface was interesting, as he progressively is learning to value more than just his diety or upholding deals, even if he’s still very much blindly loyal to him or proving his worth to him. 54:18, At this point, I was almost torn between thinking Sips unknowingly resurrected someone (or gave people the ability to regenerate and resuscitate themselves like Wolverine) or he’s just coping with indirectly killing someone by being in denial that death is permanent to cover up that mistake.

So, I can't really go into detail without going into *all* the detail, but I equated brains with the taste of cold chicken fried steak in gravy for one of my friends... around fifteen to twenty years ago. He can't eat cold chicken fried steak in gravy to this day.

When making brain jerky you need to put cut thin slice with marinades and seasonings to add, cook the meat then dehydrate, finaly sealed brain jerky in a vaccum package protection. For flavor try basil.

I’ve only had cow brain and it may have been terribly prepared as it was for a Fear Factor event for charity, but I found brain to be pretty tasteless and rubbery. It was like chewing a slightly salty rubber eraser.

I created trading punches ruleset for scenes like the drunken shenanigans. All attacks are against flatfooted AC because you aren't trying to dodge, and depending on where you are, they have you remove armored layers if it's an official wager. Though called shots are also critical damage or otherwise crippling in my setting to give incentive to making that effort. Bit me once when a rogue natted on a called shot from the bard's Greater Invisibility. X.x

Some suggestions for nelthors' favorite brain foods. Brainwurst sausages, gray matter gazpacho, neuro-boost smoothies. Perhaps some sushi style brain dishes with the octopus tentacle look of the long braids of the brain, idk enough about sushi to make a clever name for those though.

I ate fried brain when i was around 10, it was mostly flavourless (even fried) and it was really squashy. It was terrible and i didn't even know it was brain, when i knew what it was, it became 10 times more disgusting.

IME, brain is super soft and squishy. Somewhere between a big wad of fat and butter, or shortening. Couldn't really turn it into jerky. Also couldn't really find it long afterwards and have it be useful for anything, it turns to just a goop REALLY quick. 'Dried' brain just turns into a paste, like a dry pate. I can't speak for cooked brain, though. At least not intentionally so. Source: I'm an autopsy tech. Please don't put me on some watch list.
