Oh blacked out chrome may be correct around rear window 🙆 would look better chrome

How can “blacked out” chrome be factory correct? There is a rear window trim piece that simulates the look of the vinyl top which is white in color. This piece is to be painted to match the color of the vinyl. Many GP’s exhibit chrome around the rear window but the proper installation of the factory correct trim piece results in a vastly improved look. Blacked out chrome is sheer nonsense but there is no accounting for taste when “restoring” classics.

What a great car. Horrible color though. Mine was white but would have liked another color. That was my favorite car ever and want another one now but can't do yellow on such a cool car and have 4 classics now, that tach was never factory on grand prix and doesn't look good on those cars even though they are very cool, thx
