She explained SO much when she told Nathan that she was determined to "despise any new mountie that came to Hope Valley." But not only did she start to like him for what a wonderful person he was, she starts to fall for him in spite of her best efforts to stay true to her promise to herself...and possibly her promise to Jack. NOT another mountie! She had to convince herself that it couldn't be. She had to tell herself that he MUST be reminding her of Jack, that she was projecting THOSE feelings onto Nathan. That it couldn't be real. So she "fixes" that by convincing herself that she was in love with a totally different kind of man, ironically the same type of man she was with before she fell in love with Jack. She tried to run from her feelings for Nathan by reverting back to "that other" guy. Never works. It was SO hard to hear her tell Nathan she "loved him, but wasn't in love with him." I still find it difficult to ever watch that scene. BUT when she divulged the despising any mountie thing to Nathan, it finally made sense and I finally forgive her!😂😂😂😂😂🎉😂😂😂😂
Well he better start doing things like Jack did for her, specially like giving her a typewriter, specials like beautiful set ups for meals, his drawing pictures of her, Jack was very attentive towards her, Nathan better get on the ball, enough of the kissy face stuff, he should build that home for her and the kids that Jack had started!
@@larrywiggin3489 Nathan has given her sweet gifts from the heart instead of grand gestures (L was the grand gesture dude). Nathan gives sweet gestures. The wooden plaque he made her that said, "Always do what your afraid to do." Given his time just to listen to her when she's needed a friend and someone to listen. He's helps her with Jack Jr. He has literally saved her life. I know that's part of his job, but still he would die saving her life if he had to. He's complimented her talent as a writer. He shows that he knows what a great mother she is and respects her.. He ask her important meaningful questions like "What's in your heart?" 😊❤❤
I have to agree. For this to NOT be a REAL Love you for ever We Are looking at a REAL ROMANCE and waiting to be Married Couple. I could truly feel the Excitement coming off of the beginning to whenever it happens for Nathan& Elizabeth. They both are Delivering all of the Loving feelings and hope for a Blessed coming together of Family that could and should last forever. So exciting to see the end and new beginning of this Absolutely Wonderful Show. I’m loving this sooooooo much. Thank you both for your great acting. 4:21 4:21

I haven't heard that song in a long time. It sure makes for a very sweet video. I also have to say that using the hug scene to end it was a perfect choice. It makes my heart feel at peace. Thanks so much, Susan!
Nathan is the king of simple, grand gestures, taking Jack as a baby to give Elizabeth a break, a meaningful quote on a plaque he made himself and a perfect red apple that was so shiny, it looked like it had been varnished. None was expensive, but definitely let her know he heard the things she said and thought of her when they were not together.
