The Philadelphia 76ers organization celebrated Tyrese Maxey as a franchise player by creating a museum experience that included and displayed all of his achievements in his young basketball career.
I’m a 32-year old dude from Australia, I’ve been a tragic Sixers fan since I was 10 years old and was obsessed with Allen Iverson. I’ve never pulled so hard for anyone to succeed like I do with Tyrese. It is an absolute pleasure to watch this guy grow, mature, and blossom into the star he is and the superstar he will become. I don’t think there’s ever been anyone I am genuinely so happy to see succeed because I don’t think there’s ever been a better human, more deserving. From Australia Tyrese, thankyou for letting us be a part of your incredible journey! You really embody everything about Philadelphia and you are everything anyone could ever want in a “franchise”. Keep killing them young fella!

There was that time when Philly threw a city parade for Dr J when he retired (and who had recently become the 3rd player in NBA history to score over 30,000 points) I've seen cities throw parades for teams but to my knowledge, never for a single player...could be wrong. I always thought Maurice Cheeks deserved a parade.

This is the single greatest gesture I've seen a team in this city do for a player besides Hinkie's consoling of Joel after his brother's tragic passing. Genuinely, an amazing move.

When we got this guy & seeing him play, I knew & have said he WILL be great!! People didn’t believe it. But I did!! I love this dude. Seeing him play is so awesome especially as a die hard sixer fan & I’ve seen a lot. Bring us a championship Maxey!! This city & sixers need to keep you forever

This kid is ONLY 23 years old!! He's such a great basketball player already and overall an amazing person who has really helped shape the sixers culture and every sixers fan loves Tyrese Maxey, honestly probably more loved than Embiid in Philadelphia. No disrespect to Embiid we love him too. The way Maxey approaches the game along with his contagious smile this kid is a winner. I was excited when we drafted him and I remember after his rookie season telling my friend tyrese reminds me of a young kobe and that he had mamba's mentality. Congratulations Tyrese. 1st all star appearance as the youngest player on the all star team and NBA's most improved player all in his 3rd season in the NBA! I just know that he will lead this franchise to the promise land and hoist a trophy in Philadelphia. Id bet my life on this kid. Hes him! He has that IT factor! Fearless! Yall got me gang! Had your boy crying. I am only 31 but I have been a Sixers fan since Dr. J....watching his highlights and his game and understanding what Philly is all about and stands for. I was even more locked in with the team when AI became the face of the franchise. Us TRUE Sixers fans have been through it all over the last few years and Tyrese Maxey you are a breath of fresh air my dude. I hope so! I thought they should’ve brought those jerseys back in 2021 for the 20 yr Anniversary of their last Finals appearance but they went with the Black Boathouse Row jerseys instead.

76ers had more lows than highs. Tyrese has been awesome for us. We don’t do too well sometimes with how we treat our city’s players. I hope we do good with this guy.

Garland, TX 🐐 Been watching him hoop since his Freshman year at my Alma Mater South Garland High School. My friend and 2003 basketball brother Coach Dominique Parker was his coach and he told me he had some 8th graders coming that could start on Varsity right then. I couldn’t believe him until I saw Tyrese drop 25 points in his Varsity debut along with 5 other freshman with him in easy victory. 😮 I knew then that this kid was special ‼️ Been a fan ever since. Proud of his success and for his family. 💪🏾💪🏾🫡💸✈️

I’m so happy that they did this for this man. He absolutely deserves this. This is how I feel every time I watch him. This is truly delightful. Watching everything that’s going on in this video is exactly how we the city of Philly feel about him. We love him here. His energy and positivity is truly, his smile and his tenacity is 1 in a million and untouchable.
