@4:30 yea it’s not fucking fair and I’m mad that I even have to endure this. I resent my parents for having me because they forced me into a world where I’d have to endure this trauma. And, they played a big part of that trauma so I hate them even more. I’ve missed out so much in life because of this bulshit. I was supposed to have it all. And I know that’s my ego talking but that’s what I deserve. I hate the 1% because I should be part of the 1%!!

I can relate to this and you're valid in feeling resentful. But that resentment will only fester within you and hold you back even more. Radial acceptance is the only way to move forward and align with the kind of life that you would want, despite your circumstances.

From a guy's perspective, I genuinely wouldn't care about being behind in life if there wasn't so much pressure on us to perform. I mean, we can't even get into relationships with the people we genuinely want, unless we're at a certain point in life. I'm really not saying that we're entitled to a person, a relationship and also neither am I basing the assumptions on where we're at in life, but we aren't even taken into consideration if we haven't made it yet, almost as if there's meant to be a timeline of when a man should be ready and prepared to have a relationship with a woman that he chooses to have one with. As a 24 year old who's been in a 7 year relationship in the past and now playing the field, I've lost so much confidence in my character, because character is no longer enough and that ultimately weakens my character too.

99% of women threw themselves away. Expect a long search to find one who is marriageable. Prepare for the path of being alone, but you can go social dancing if you want to be around women. Relationships or casual attachments are poison. Get used to walking away from women even though it feels more comfortable to hang around.

As a 36yr old woman, I can relate to what you're saying. This isn't a men issue, it's a societal issue. I too haven't "made it" in life. I never went to university and instead jumped into the work force and have an amazing lifestyle of working seasonally and then travelling six months of the year. Yes, a lot of people don't agree with how I live (thanks fam) but I'm happy and that's what matters. I do get anxiety a lot about not being on a certain timeline (hence why we're watching this video) but it's always a good reminder that everyone is different. As for relationship, I did have a guy break up with me because I didn't align with his "climbing corporate ladder" ideals but I'm better off without it. I definitely know other women out there who are like me who've decided to take the other road and value character over material wealth. I've struggled from the other side, trying to find men who align with me and using dating app has turned dating culture toxic. Good luck out there!

Not to invalidate your feelings or experience in any way, but I don't think that's objectively true. The older you get and the more people you meet, the more you realize that everyone is so different and sees the world so differently. I'm not saying what you've experienced isn't true, but just encouraging you not to lose hope because I know there are people out there who don't see things that way.

This is actually devastating to read. We are communal creatures. We need one another for our physical and emotional survival. Are all people aligned with you? No. Are all people trying their best to be good? No. But there are so many people out there who simply want to seek out meaningful connection and to feel supported, men or women. There is nothing wrong with that.
