Wendy was one of the first designers I started following, as well. I loved her. She was a kind, loving, Christian soul, and she was not only an amazing teacher, she loved telling us about her family. We heard all about Chris, and her boys, and their moves. I loved watching her re-organize when she moved, and I loved all the different things she designed with beads. Thank you for your fun collaborations you did with her, those were fun, as well! I know that Heaven has gained another angel, but it doesn't help how much we will miss her down here...

Wendy was so personable that you felt she was your personal friend. I cried when Brittany Chavers posted something on her RU-vid channel. Then Kellie had her live show and was crying which made me cry again. Today Brittany did a short video in remembrance of Wendy, and I cried today. Such a sad day.
That’s a beautiful piece. Wendy would love it. I’ve been thinking about her family a lot the last couple days. I just finished a tribute to her myself, but using seashell fragments. I know she loves to beach comb and make things with the seashells. Something her, and I have very much in common. I didn’t know her personally, but I felt like I did.
Wendy lived in the same county as I and I never even realized it! This is devastating. I was watching the local news the other night and saw the accident but had NO idea. Of bless!! I find it amazing how you mention Wendy and Kellie Sutton as two you watched at first. They have both been a big part of my beading world journey. I learned a lot by trial and error years ago, but both Wendy and Kellie have taught me so much more. Wendy was so positive and always had her words of encouragement for the day. I've never really connected to people on the social media until I met my fellow beaders...I truly love all of you that I spend time with daily. My heart is broken over the loss of Wendy and will truly miss her. I want you to know, Jennifer, how much I appreciate you and learn from you as well! You are a big part of my journey. I just found Wendi recently, she mentioned her Granddad and I was led to pray 🙏 for both of them! Only to find out a week later Jesus needed His angel. Her and I met up, in person (during a Live) in October of 2022 and I had the pleasure of inviting her to my channel as well as being a guest on her channel for Lives. I was one of her big fans and I was literally sick to my stomach when I found out this morning from Luisa's tribute video to Wendy. I was shocked and have been sad all day. This is a wonderful tribute to her. She loved to work with that Coreana chain and I finally broke down and ordered some and received it about 2 weeks ago. I started watching Wendy when she was just beginning her bed journey. She was so frustrated wanting to have the success like other beaders. The funny thing is that quickly she became even more successful than she ever imagined she could be. She was the kindest person I know and I am mourning her loss immensely. Hi Linda - I started making jewelry at the start of the pandemic and learned so much from Kellie and Wendy. About a year later, I found Nealay Patel, Sara Lovecraft, Sara and Kristen from Soft Flex, Danielle Wickes...and the list has grown so much ! I hope the videos stay up too - her and I have a Live on her channel and I have been watching it - it was such a blast !!

Best to You🌻 btw, many of Wendy's last necklaces are assembled with small sections of beads. Jump rings assist the sections with finding their place in line. Sara Lovecraft does well without the rings; but I noticed she makes the eyes on a section face the same way. I assume that technique allows sections to alternate as units and lay well.
@@LindaLanglitz642 Yes, Wendy worked really hard and knowing all that goes into these videos, she spent a lot of time in preparing for them too. I know for every 30-minute video I post, at least two to three hours of preparations go into the project. Sometimes, I do have to omit the rings due to sizing - and I have noticed a difference but it still works well - you are right 🙂 Wendy and I really had a blast with our Live streams. We were just getting started.

I would always look every day to see if Wendy had uploaded a video to watch. Yesterday I spent the afternoon making necklaces with her Corianna chain. I so appreciated her Christian witness and I had told her so.

She was also one of the first designers I started following. I'm gonna miss her. I made a necklace today from one of her videos from I think 9 days ago. It was from GGC's treasure bag. I also made a necklace with lots of tassels. We all know that Wendy loved her dangles and her tassels!! I would love to post it but I'm afraid that I would upset someone. So I will wait till its ok. Hello! I am new to your channel, but i have been following Wendy since I first started beading. I didn't know that thing about using jump rings to make it flow better. She was so amazing and I miss her, even though I didn't know her in person
Welcome to my channel. Wendy and I had one line on her channel, two on mine and one on Jesse James Beads channel (where I met her in person). The jump-ring trick does make a huge difference. There are times the sizing/length doesn't make it possible but it definitely is what I start with first when designing. She was amazing ! and I miss her already 🥰

Hi Jenifer. I found you through Wendy's live. I had seen your name on Sara's lives but didn't know you had a channel. I've had the BBB since 2019 and think it was also because of Wendy. As a beginner I would eagerly await her BBB videos for inspiration. She was a huge inspiration to so many of us and my heart aches for everyone but most especially for her family.

I found her and became a subscriber to BBB instantly and copied her designs for the longest time - it helped me become comfortable with designing on my own - I had mostly bought kits. She was amazing and greatly missed ! 🥰

How wonderful that you're doing this. We have the same idea. i've been watching her videos on and off all day and pulling beads to make some pieces in her memory. I think I will do beach themed pieces and of course include coreana chain. I didn't get to meet her, but she was so personable in her videos that I feel like I knew her.

No - I have only used silicone beads for leather and thick beading chain - so the ones in my stash have a larger hole. I will definitely look into using the beads. Thank you !!!!
Hi Kathy - Kellie's Bead Boutique has beading chain in two sizes.
