Yeah people be saying that sometime but every bike that I have sold is still on the road today to my knowledge. It’s been years since I sold my fz09 and The guy still rides in Amarillo. These are racing machines they’re built the handle abuse as long as you keep up with their maintenance and I do

I think clutch packs are pretty simple to replace on bikes (and unlike cars they are oil submerged, don't do that stuff on cars). Also the gears are sequential continuously meshing transmissions, so you don't need to clutch to shift gears (you SHOULD let off the gas for 1/10th second for upshifts, and blip the throttle for downshifts, though for a couple years I slammed gears WOT but it kind of destroyed my frame shearing the motor mounts, which I welded up and reinforced but still preferably the proper technique is to let off the throttle for upshifts). Even Harley's don't need clutches for shifting (and they are pretty smooth, especially their new Sportster S). I'm surprised he's still using a clutch, but yes just flooring it while clutching is not going to rev-match so that's not good, but its not the worst either... and those small bikes have high safety margins since they are made for beginners.
