As always thanks for the videos! But no X or H pipe, and no mufflers. The only way these two could sound any worse was if they were one single straight pipe exhaust. Or just straight out of the exhaust manifolds.

OK, both have a nice tonality (That STS was a surprise!), but my vote goes towards the Crown Vic. Absolutely love those grandpa boats 😍. I thought the true dual Vic sounded excellent, Ig I need my ears checked? 🤪

That Vic sounds like the cats were gutted. I had an 89 Vic with the 5.0. 4 cats with bullet mufflers and it was still quiet.

I love true duals because of the raw sound but i wouldn’t run it on any of my daily’s because it is incredibly loud. I’d prefer a catless setup with Flowmaster 40 series on these cars.

I love the way the Crown Vic sounds. Sounds like a modern Mustang. I would definitely not use an h pipe personally.

The problem with much of today's car culture is that the emphasis is about speed. I see many people treat speed as if it is the only merit to a car's value or coolness. Slow... Who cares? Get a 'Stang for that.

Back in the day when you could bring out something as humble as a Chevrolet Vega or something as extraordinary as a Lambo Countach and no one would care about it's performance specs unless the car was BUILT for it. It was all about the individual's liking towards their car and it's importance in history, great or small, any car has some validity in the overall history of the automobile. You're a speed person that wants the speed? Sure thing, get a nice Hellcat or Porsche or something.

Both of these cars sound abysmally terrible, but the STS is the worse of the two. The STS is a sophisticated, refined machine that absolutely does not deserve the flatulent monstrosity they've bolted onto it. The owners of both these vehicles need some serious wake-up calls. I actually used to have a v6 STS... It had the best-sounding stock exhaust on the planet, and absolutely did not need any modification, whatsoever.

Both would sound much better with a pair of Vibrant Bottle mufflers or Dynomax race bullets.IMHO. Nice work otherwise.

I will never understand why people choose to do true duals. True duals on anything sound absolutely awful. Especially with 2.5 inch piping and no mufflers/resonators, nothing sounds worse than that raspy clap….

@@TheWholeGrainBread_Real both. If you don’t blend the two banks together it’s going to sound terrible. An X pipe is a must. But generally I think a Y pipe out to a single sounds best. You can always split it to dual exit after the muffler.
