In this video we do our first Ford EcoBoost Upgrade Mods on my 2021 Lincoln Navigator. We install an upgraded intercooler and blow off valve to get this rig that we call Travel Ball ready for a hot tune.

This was just what I was looking for to upgrade our 2020 Navigator. I wanted a tune but wanted to do some upgrades before hand. Thanks forcthe video. Cant wait to do the mods.

Now that you have the intercooler all you need is to upgrade the intake, do a wastegate mod to hold a little extra boost and a tune and you're good for 600 horsepower. That's literally all that Hennessy does.

I thought I was going to miss having a V8 when I went from a 5.6 V8 in a Nissan Titan to the 3.5 TT in the F150. I loooooooove the twin turbo V6! It’s my third turbocharged vehicle, first turbocharged truck. It scoots like I like it to and has ample torque. I can’t wait to start bumping the power.

Just busted out my HPTuners on my Navigator and considering adding an upgraded Intercooler before Summer. Night and Day difference with a good tune on these 3.5 HO engines.

It's quite different from the Raptor . The Raptor has a fan system and a shutter system in the grill that needs ur attention also . Point is its a much bigger job in the Raptor to change out the innercooler to a bigger one

I love this channel!! I just bought both parts from livernois for my 17 3.5 lariat can’t wai to install them after the dealership repairs the cam phasers, I’m praying it’s gonna run right , lol

I just ordered a 22' Expedition with the H.O. 3.5 and just showed your vid to my wife and asked if she wanted me to do this to her new truck and she said intercooler yes, blow off valve NO! She said it sounds like the truck is queefing.

I don’t know, it is the 3.5 Ecoboost. I don’t see why they’d change it as it costs quite a bit to make the new parts to only use in some trucks. I’d say climb under and see if it’s this intercooler, if it is it should work. The blow off valve should also be the same

@Gene Slough, I’m not sure. They both start with the same 3.5 EcoBoost but I don’t think the Powerboost will be tunable for a while. I would wait and see who creates a power package and tune for the Powerboost and see what they recommend.

That King Ranch for sale? My dad wants a new truck; King Ranch, Plati, Limited or Navigator. He ordered a Bronco, but knowing him he won’t take it. He needs something more capable to tow his toys. It also doesn’t have massaging seats I don’t think he’ll like it. So he wants me to find an F150 or Navi

Inflation sucks. They're $600 these days. Maybe you can find a deal around the holidays. Here's a link to the intercooler. They make a new V2 model that is quite a bit more expensive. www.cvfab.com/products/cvf-titan-intercooler-2015-f-150-raptor-2-7l-3-5l-ecoboost

I was under the impression the factory intercooler was to good and cooled to much. That's why there are louvers in the grill to keep warm. There were several TSB on ths stock intercooler working to good.

Not sure about that. It's impossible to cool your turbo intake temperatures too much. The cooler the better. That's why forced induction cars are faster in the winter. As for the louvers they are actually for the radiator. They close in the winter to help the car warm up faster so the heat works sooner. They also keep the vehicle from cooling below optimal operating temperature in the winter. I don't see how that can be an issue in the summer though.

It takes a tiny bit of ingenuity to remount the MAF sensor to the intake manifold. You'll probably need a different screw and some washers. Nothing a trip to the hardware store can't fix. On a Navigator you can use the same BOV as the F150.

I know it won't be on just the behalf of me alone but please build this thing nobody else has the balls too no pun intended lol but it would be so great to see a built navigator outrun a fucking trackhawk, Durango, and or at least the supercharged Escalade it's time for the brothers to unite and kick some Mopar or bow tie ass 😂😂

That’s not gonna happen it’s just too big and heavy you will blow the engine up trying .You will need a built engine or a lighter pick up and even that wouldn’t be reliable long-term
