Car is not a showpiece that would be hanged in home for gimmicks and features. In terms of engineering, this American brand still can teach all the Korean and Indian brands a lesson or two. Ecosport is like fine whiskey which ages gracefully over time. It had, has and always will be having a separate fan base who prefer sheer driving pleasure over gimmicks. Reminds me of Royal Enfield bikes who are least bothered about cosmetic changes every year

Sir i just dropped the plan to sell my Ecosport 2013 Trend model for Sonet, I know the model is quite old with zero features but the ecosport safety, ride and the comfort is still as fresh as cucumber. Thank You for that honest review 😉

Just got delivery of Ecosport Titanium plus sport yesterday, today drove it to Mumbai from Pune and the experience was amazing. Got mileage of 22.2kmpl on this trip. But I drove gently and never crossed 90kmph mark. Handling was phenomenal.

After driving a Ford Ecosport Titanium Diesel for 6 years and over 1 lakh kilometers, it was time for a change. I picked up the Sonet Diesel GTX manual. Just completed a 2500 km drive from Hyderabad to Cochin and back. While the bells and whistles are good, the Sonet can't be put in the same class when it comes to the feel of the drive.

I chose Eco Sport due to its different design among all SUVs. Its the first SUV which was seen in Indian market in 2013. Its back tyre gives a classic look which makes it different from other SUVs.Thanks to Ford for giving such a wonderful product..

Wow, what an unbiased review. Brilliant!! I had a discussion with a Ford sales executive who earlier worked in Hyundai, he told me that all new cars in that segment be it a Venue, Sonet or Nexon they tried to copy Ford cars in terms of engineering and adds extra features in their cars to compete with Ford. I and my friend took test drive of Ford ecosport and Tata Nexon diesel variants on the same day and we both felt that ecosport is much better in terms of engineering, engine refinements and driving pleasure. Nexon is a value for money product. I think Nexon had better pick-up (acceleration) and mileage than ecosport. The best part of nexon is from the base model it comes with safety features like Traction control, ESP, Brake Assist and Hill assist. Sonet and Venue are good in exterior and interior design and quality and also has good engine refinement but I personally feel they are much costlier than they should be.

After watching your videos I bought ford Ecosport s petrol.... And after riding it around 500 km I m definitely says that its best car to ride....

After I test drive the Sonet, I was thoroughly convinced to buy the Ecosport Titanium Diesel. Anyday Ecosport is a better car. Sonet is a box loaded with gimmicks and features. If you are looking at steering feedback and driving experience and safety to top it all, then there is no second thought but Ecosport 😊👌🏼. With a higher ground clearance, Ecosport still gives one higher levels of confidence to drive 👍🏼😊.

I just got my Ecosport S diesel 2 weeks back and its a bomb to drive...been enjoying it so much. Considered the Sonet too, its good looking but it feels like a hatch on steroids. Note: No matter which car, don't use the infotainment screen much while driving. Its a real distraction!

I got the response from Kia and Hyundai in the next 1 hour and they have arranged for the test drive soon. It's been a couple of days I still have not received any call from Ford and Tata yet.
