In this episode, Ethan explains why they decided on a Ford v8 engine swap, as well as taking us through some of the engine swap tips and tricks when planning a project car. Transmission choice must be thought about too, so he takes us through the flywheel, pressure plate and clutch disc replacement as well as keys us in on the difference between a flex plate and flywheel.
Updating us on other goings-on to their 1966 Ford truck restoration, Kristin walks us through the paint stripping and body work she’s been up to, using soda blasting for paint removal.
