Not only does that look great but as you say is probably far stronger than the original door post. Why do people go on and on about "cut 'n shuts" , a whole generation have been scared off a repaired car, yet have probably driven something held together with filler, glassfibre and bits of aluminium pop riveted in. Great techniques, made to look easy by a very focused and determined individual. Trying to hide rust is harder than grabbing the bull by the horns. Thanks Dave for giving others the confidence to try this sort of work. Keep up the great work!
