We've finally driven the new-generation Ford Everest 2023 model - a 4WD wagon with up to seven seats - and we've driven the new V6, and done a 4x4 off-road test!
The new-generation model is still based on the Ford Ranger ute, and like that pickup truck, the Everest has seen big changes. There is new technology, safety equipment, interior finishes, touchscreens, connectivity and more.
The range still kicks off with the entry-level Ambiente which is available in 4x2 RWD or 4x4, with a 2.0-litre bi-turbo engine. Same story for the next spec up, the Trend, but it adds a few extra niceties over the base car, and costs more too.
The next model up is the Sport, which comes standard with the new 3.0-litre turbo diesel V6 engine and four-wheel drive. Above it is the decked-out Platinum model, which is loaded with luxury equipment.
There's a lot of other considerations, including fuel consumption, safety equipment, practicality and more - all of which are covered in this video review of the 2023 Ford Everest, and in Matt Campbell's written review linked below.
