Wondering how the 2020 suburban will do. It gets an Independent rear suspension and the DFM 6.2 with a 10 speed.

Easy to determine the winner. Look at team surf and turfs arrival. Subtract 4 hours (to account for then road closure). Then you have your winner.

Nothing beats a Suburban in real life. Especially with a 6.2.

Expedition is much improved over previous years and I like the off road fx4 package but the Suburban seemed nicer inside and to got better mpg 21 vs 19 even with the larger engine and longer wheelbase

3:30 ..completely agree..but I'd go one step further and add a third pedal and shifter from the floor or a short throw so it fits into console. That's what I miss.

Great personalities making great entertainment. That Suburban RST is a beast of a vehicle inside and out. I've never been a big Ford fan, but for some reason I was surprised by the new 2019 Ranger Lariat.

The premium in Nebraska is way cheaper than regular around my parts in Cali.

Highway 80 in Illinois, Iowa and nebraska is a flat land, compared california, Nevada and utah is mostly high mountains above see level...that's why suburban had great mpg. And if the meeting point was in Denver CO, coming from east there is no mountains untill Denver. All the big mountains are west of Denver, towards Utah:)

I am not a fan of dials for trans selection, I am also not a fan of GMs crank style column shifter. Neither would be a deal breaker however.

I like you and your work. Here's how you can improve: 1. Take your 4x4 skills to the highest possible level. 2. For humour themes, take acting classes on the highest possible level. 3. Leave themes like sports cars, motorcycles, unless you bring your skills and knowledge to the highest possible level.

The longer suburban surely would have scraped on the rear. I own an 05 Suburban Z71 4x4. A fraction of the cost of these newer trucks, but I love it and will keep it forever. Along with my OBS K1500 Silverado.

Traded in my first Expedition a 2013 model now got the new 2018 its epic.

Nathan n unicorn the never ending of laughter, I was surprised with Ford FX4 going up rock wow, n fuel mileage on Chev it weighs more then my 93 5.0lt V8 ute (1600kg) 4 speed automatic it does same mileage as my ute. Unbelievable 10 speed automatic hook to 6.2lt but slower then FX4 😮!! Great race fellas.

I think you take time spent sitting for road closure and then how far behind windy dogs you arrived. If time behind dogs was less than time spent sitting. Than surf and turf wins. If not windy dogs win. Also Nathan the full beard looks cool.

The shifter less trans is not futuristic Chrysler used a push button shift starting back 60 + years ago in 1954

I have a solution: Andre and Mike get to eat Chicago Windy Dogs, while Mike and Mr. Truck get the full-course Bronto-burger meal, and the team that gets the least gas and indigestion wins. (Hint: go easy and the ketchup and mustard.)

Was it me alone looking at that Ford F-250 at 16:40? My heart was beating so fast seeing the Expedition going up the baby lions back. It made it up!! It was yet and didnt even had the best traction tires. Wasnt Kent and Micheal suppose to get another challenge? Nathan and Andre got two and they got one. If it was the most powerful Expedition engine used it would be the Suburban even more in the drag race. For me the Expedition won.

THERE IS NO DEBATE. TEAM SURF AND TURF ARE AUTOMATICALLY DISQUALIFIED!!! THERE WERE MANY TIMES WHEN THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO HAVE SWITCHED DRIVERS EVERY TIME THEY STOPPED AND CLEARLY DID NOT IN MOST OF PART 2. THEY LOSE, PLAIN AND SIMPLE!!! CHECK THE RULES IN PART 1 AT ABOUT 5:25 OF THE VIDEO.

Well you need to also add in an hour penalty for y'all leaving early and you guys didn't alternate drivers on these stop. Both vehicles were surprisingly fuel-efficient what they are.

This very nice. I got one for y’all how about having both of the guys start in New Orleans Louisiana to Boulder Colorado do multiple challenges on the way. And you can start out with a drag race in New Orleans Louisiana below sea level at the race track.

Someone grabbed the Omaha drop pretty quick. I was there 5 hours after this was posted and it was gone.

One won the race and one won the drag race, who got the better fuel mileage? That's the winner!

Truth is, it doesn’t matter. Both vehicles were and are awesome.

The Chevy Suburban 6.2 and 21 mph = Winner!

The logical scientific answer would be to take the time that Surf N Turf arrived and subtract 4 hours because of the delay that wasn't their fault and see where it would line up vs Windy Dogs. A drag race in higher elevation is set up for the turbo V6 and lighter vehicle since the Expedition is Tahoe size not the Suburban size to win. Always fun but not fair even though the 6.2 is a quick engine too. Surf N Turf had more difficult time consuming challenges it would seem with the surfing, off roading, and Nathan's Meme worthy Spaventure with the unicorn vs the flattest highest point in a state that I have ever seen, but standing on that glass in Chicago was scary. Overall the audience won by enjoying this Not So Great Race which was great in it's own way, especially the entertainment value. I hope you guys do more of these type videos maybe an annual or bi annual thing like the Golden Hitch and Winch is.

Suburban/Tahoe is still the greatest. I think those column/regular shifters is more suitable for the SUV compare to the electric dial/buttons vehicles are having these days

Great show. I would buy the Suburban for certain. Love the 6.2L V8. Ford should offer the 5.0 V8 Coyote engine in the Expedition.
