Did you originally have a factory sub in your truck and that port inside your pillar was the wiring for it?I will be helping a friend put a hodeaway in hos 2020 xlt and it doesnt have a factory amp and sub
Did you have any issues activating the subwoofer with forscan? I set it to auxiliary subwoofer and 7 speakers crew cab with sub. I have a blue light on my sub but no sound
@@thwompdesert Yes, you have to switch the auto turn on to DC. I ended up returning that sub because it didn't sound very good. For around the same price I bought 2 Skar 6.5 subs and an amp and they sound excellent.
@@michaelhoff129 thank you, I have to look and see if I have the plug on my 21. I want to do exactly what you did. Had it in my last f150 but did install the hard way splicing into wire harness.
