Hi Stalo Fab, your RU-vid videos & explanations are great keep up the good work, i will be looking at a chassis swap on my 1947 Jailbar shorty using a 4WD 2005 RH drive V8 4.6 Ford Explorer which should fit as i have measured the chassis rails & the cab will sit over with ease, only difference is the explorers has a Independent rear end, if you lived closer i would fly you over here to New Zealand to do my conversion, ill keep reviewing your builds to help me with my refit. I also have a 1948 Ford Bonus which will be my next project if this one comes out ok. Cheers for all the information. Eric

Wish I had the skills for this kind of swap. Sitting in my yard is a strong running 2005 Explorer with body damage and a filthy interior. And I'm really starting to like these older Ford trucks....

I watch the whole video and the only thing I didn't quite get was using the S10 bed? Why couldn't you just use the factory Ford bed?
