Ford Module programming FJDS Install and setup

Sam, I don't do any programming yet, since at our shop we are still farming this out, but I'm confident it's only a matter of time before this will change drastically. Nevertheless, I love the information you're been putting together for us in the field. Many of us IMHO will be reviewing your content even more intensely as time goes on, since this is going to be an absolute necessity to have this capability in the very near future...no matter what shop we are working in. Great information and I appreciate you sharing this with us!

Hello Sam , i have 2013 f150 it came with a used pcm, tried to program the vin no luck because i didnt have the part number of the pcm of the vehicle, i programmed the bcm to the wrong vin the truck started but the transmission is not working,

Ford rips you off for a 2 day license $54.00 that is with tax I honestly think it should be more like $5.00 or maybe even $10.00

Hey Sam, im New to J2534 Programming i Recently Put Used Cluster in On 05 Ford Escape I was Aple Do PMI Install Procedure With The Launch No Issue But Only Thing Is Can Not Change Mileage That Cluster Had On Other Car its Digital Cluster Can FJDS With My Cardaq Plus 3 Rewirte mileage Or Do I Need Use IDS Software Or Not Possible Since Its Used?? Appreciate Any Help With Tips

Just a heads up, I bought a license from the motorcraft site from FJDS/IDS and it wouldn't work thru FJDS, only IDS. I have no idea why it happened, but im wondering if it's due to the vcm clones not having the correct vci software to run on FJDS.

Can anybody confirm this works with the MaxiFlash Elite j-box? I have FJDS installed (had to download it from somebodys Mega link, the link to FJDS on the Motorcraft site doesn't work for some reason, I was only able to download IDS). In the FJDS setup, it gives me the option for the MaxiFlash pro, not the newer Elite. Just want to be sure before I waste $50 on a license I can't use. Thanks.

Gday Sam, wounding if you can help me here, I've downloaded the FJDS EXE FILE to laptop, when I try to run the application it starts to install but stops a short time in, I have a message come up telling me due to not having any FJDS older version installed it would install ? I've looked about the net for an older version than 115.01 that's on Motorcraft site, can't find. Any ideas would be appreciated
