These were way more reliable than the Passat of this generation. Wouldn't take a Passat for free.

Had my mondeo sins 03 it's an 02 plate most reliable ford I've had never let me down and still perfect today .

Way too over-critical about the car. He understates it's good points almost on purpose. If you're watching this because you're thinking about buying a MK3 Mondeo, fuck this video off and talk to someone who owns one, like me, I and/or any other owner will tell you how good this car really is

I would choose a ford over a bmw any day of the week , yes i know BMW are better cars , but i have my reason why i would choose a ford over a BM i like fords they are good cars

The Mk3 Mondeo is like the modern day Cortina 1600 with the Ghia and Ghia X being the 1600 E and the LX being the cortina L I was excited tbh for ownership on the Mk3 had it now for 3 years and absolutely love it she’s a Mk3 2.0l duratec HE Mondeo hatchback in silver black 5 speed manual 143hp but tuned to 165bhp for fuel economy it’s quiet and comfortable been to France and back a couple times and my god is it a good car definitely not getting rid of this car check out my channel to see the car and other car bits I have done

At the end of day, Richard it's just a car. Personally I would have the 2.0 litre TDCi Zetec. I am not wanting to show it off to bunch of petrolheads. However it's well-built, sturdy and beats its Vauxhall equivalent hands down. Has tonnes of room in both the boot and back seats, has a very good turn of acceleration: something that Ford sat down with Citroen & Peugeot to get to. Ford deserve a lot of credit for acknowledging the fact that their previous attempts at diesel cars were very poor, so swallowed their pride and learned from the car manufacturers that actually specialise in making very good diesel cars.

How times change.. i have a 2007 (56) mk3 lx. And i love it. So much more fun than a mk4.
