I had the same issue at the track with my performance pack 1 2018 and after putting in some BG fluid it no longer overheats.

@@batman-telephoneman5479 No but it did need an engine replacement due to a defect in manufacturing (tiny imperfection resulting in a slow coolant leak).

@@KidKolzithe PP2 package was something like a $6,500 option and look at all it contained straight out of the showroom. If that’s not a great value to you, you shouldn’t be buying a new car at all.

I believe the 2019 Mustangs get active revmatching. So that may be something to keep in mind.

After my experiences with my MT82 (14 GT PP) I would never buy another car with one, no matter how great the rest of the car is.

The transmission in the GT350 is in fact a lot better as well.

Most side by side comparisons I've seen suggest they're pretty close acceleration wise. In this video the Shelby just had a better driver who got on the gas sooner.

Thank you! Due to circumstances, we weren't able to go for a hotlap (open track day). And, the GT350 came across a minor problem due to an aftermarket aesthetic mod. Anyways, we still had a blast making this video! Regarding the PP2, it gave Axle Temp warnings. I have driven the GT350 many times on track, so I gave a comparison based on my experience.

No. The R fits me perfectly, and is an absolute blast! These cars have completely different characteristics.

Im a fan of the 350 too, but on the 10 grand I save going with the pp2, gonna buy a few sets of tires brother.

Probably the latter, but maybe both--they don't put a ton of effort into making a sales guy who will probably move on to a better job at some point in the next few months into a gearhead who knows the difference between Getrag and Tremec.

Did they make the MT 82 better for 2020?? It was very notchy and shift forks broke on my neighbor's PP2. He sold it right away.

It looks very similar at a glance, yes. But it's not the exact same spoiler as the regular GT or black accent package. This subtle spoiler was designed to balance the vehicle and work with the PP2's larger front splitter.
