Why was there a missing connector on the first pigtail will that piece need to be replaced with another connector? My map sensor pigtail is missing one also and a P2096 code appears so I am replacing the pigtail but want to be sure.

The last part after minute seven is maybe the best depinning video online because it breaks the connector open to reveal the inner workings that secure the tangs, and therefore how to release the tangs. Thanks

Thank you sir. All the lighter sockets in my 2015 F-350 were wired always on. Wanted to set the console socket to ignition control, for a Dashcam. Your video was exactly what I needed. Thought I was going to have to run a wire from the fuse box. Discovered Ford provided the option at the harness, but I needed to switch some pins. Not wanting to hack and splice. Happy camper.

Timeless, hey it's 2021, and my 05 Mustang threw a P0193. My fuel pressure is at 68 to 70 psi. The duty cycle pumps are running at 100 % I've tested everything from the Fuel Pressure sensor and it's in tolerance. After 2 months of searching, including asking local Ford dealer to sell me info and asked on online expert who told me unless my car has a problem operating he didn't feel like he had to answer. I scored the diagnostic tree. Itwo tests on I found the problem is a bad wire Pin 3 harness side. You just gave me the.piece of the puzzle to finish. Thank you for making this video.

Searched up blower switch plug and this video popped up. I guess maybe because I am subscribed. My 2005 FX4 with 187k miles is living a good life because of you. It's mostly towing (boat) and dump trips these days. I work in auto care, but I'm a front of house person with mechanical work as my hobby Also my cars never get in... You may know the dilemma of how the cobbler's children go barefoot! Anyway, great video. I never stopped to figure out connector repair, and now I found a broken retainer on my blower motor plug when I removed my center stack cover to add bluetooth. Which is great BTW. Now I don't need another radio and subscription to listen to satellite, just runs through the phone. You just gave me the connector solution, Love It!

Seems the clips are almost always breaking off due to age, being removed and reinstalled numerous times, environment and especially due to heat in the engine bay on the plastics. Awesome Video !!

I hope you have a great December, my father and I are actually gonna take a short trip to Erwin Tennessee and stay at uncle Johnny's along the Appalachian trail. Very soon in fact. On the last blue/red/white connector, the "element" seal at the end is also serviceable. It can be removed, and it's internal seal replaced as well. On many connectors, you must remove this to completely remove the wire connector, as it's tolerance is for water/debris. Nice video.

I know this is an older video, but car manufacture's now of days have a couple ones out there to be wary of. One in particular is a nasty bugger. For this particular type you have to take off a plastic retainer/cover(typically white) to expose the terminals, then you need to push in the soft rubber end(purple/pink) with a small screwdriver/mini Allen key. This pushes the connector forward where you now need to take either a needle nose pliers or tweezers and very gently grab the terminal, now rotate it 180*, then gently push up on it and slide out. I've only seen these on New Nissan's the pins are 1mm. I found only one extra at a pick'n'pull to figure it out so they are RARE, and you cannot find them online to replace.

Quick question: what if you wanted or needed to replace one of the pins/terminals? Where can you get those? Does Ford sell them? Are they just simple Molex connectors that you can get at any hobby electronics place or what? Thanks
