Thanks Brian for another great video. Great start to my week… coffee and seeing what adventures you are up to. You always bring quality and entertainment in your content. Safe travels friend.
Two beautiful spots. Glad you didn't get a nail in your tires Wish ppl would clean up after themselves. That was a nice small town. Dinner looked great. Lil ginger in the pork, and you would have about had a Chinese dish. 🙂👍
Anyone that tows a trailer should know about. Convert-A-Ball it has rubber built into the receiver it cushions your trailer from the truck. Much less stress on you and equipment. Better gas mileage. Your size would be about $200 range but look it up see what you think of it . They come with air bags too for higher weight loads.
I appreciate you taking us along on this amazing journey to all these beautiful campsites. Places I've never been. You're living your best life. It will be great to see Kelly again. Safe travels to y'all 🙏🙏🙏❤️☕👍✌️
Up above Butte Lake campground is Bathtub Lakes where we went to swim when I was a kid. We also backpacked into Snag Lake past the lava plug. And climbing Cindercone gives you a panoramic view of the whole area. Last year's fires came close to Snag.
Another good adventure Brian, I moved from Barstow California to Washington and drove 395 pulling a 32ft Travel Trailer with a 1962 Dodge D-100 Slant 6 very nice drive only two lane but nice. We broke down in Reno and stayed at the Peppermill Casino for a few days till my brother was able to send some money to continue north. Take care and as always, "Enjoy The Adventure." Tell Kelley hi, 🤠👍✌Oh, yea, it took 2 weeks at 35mph to get to Washington. lol
I bet Schat's Bakkery in Bishop was crowded, even if everything else was quiet. 🙂 I love the eastern sierra nevada mountains. Thanks for sharing another day in your life!
Finally, a place that I recognize!! That is a beautiful spot that you have! But on your way out, about a 1/4 to 1/2 mile from where you are at on the left, there is a little off shoot that leads you back to a beautiful, dispersed camp site...very private
Our summer vacations from the Bay area would be a week in the Gold Country. Downeyville on hwy 49 along the Yuba River. Last day , we'd head to Reno for some black jack and buffet. Nice route you're taking north.
In the 80s, my cousin went to Chico State. The city had an interesting city pool. The set up a part of Butte Creek. They had ropes sectioning off a large "swimming pool" where the water just continuously ran through the pool. I an sure it would not meet health and safety codes these days.
Completely of in the weeds, but...... Looking at your van and trailer. It be an interesting setup if you had a roll up door or pocket door on the back of the van and another on the front of the trailer with a pivoting gangway between the two. Have that enclosed in a corrugated 'tunnel' pass through, like the articulated city buses. Could have living space in the van and sleeping space in the trailer with a storage basement or back half as a garage. Just thinkin out loud......😁
Just past Bridgeport about 14 miles going north just before sonoro pass. There is a great place free with a small lake about 6 miles off pavement. Beautiful place ....
Hi Brian great scenery and you find really good camps. Great video also looking forward to the next episode when you meet up with your lady friend. Drive safe and be safe
Brian my love, such beautiful scenery. The shimmering lake is gorgeous. I would swim in my shorts or naked. Your cooking is delicious. Honey, take care and stay safe and beware of false prophets ❤️👍🌈🌹🕊🎈😇🍺🌞🇺🇸🙏
goid morning from central Pennsylvania. beautiful scenery. I love the lake. can't wait to see Kelly and to see your adventure with her. be safe and have fun.
Been on the road for one year today. I would like to thank you so much for making this journey so much more pleasant and easy with all the knowledge you have given us.
I’d look into a small air compressor for situations like your bumpy road. Airing down is a MAJOR game changer…keeps from shaking everything to death. Besides, an air compressor is a great investment, something to utilize in the future if need be.
@@Jj-gi2uv I use a Viair 400P …but there many out there to choose from. My choice was based on reviews & cost. I use it when off-roading and it runs simply off my trucks battery. I usually air down between 11-15 psi all four tires. I use these little deflators that screw onto your valve stem and bring your tires pressure down all evenly..they come in a set of four and can be adjusted to different psi’s. Airing back up usually takes about 15 mins…the compressor works great and can be used for bikes, motorcycles, equipment, etc. I actually didn’t realize he had duallys on the back…that might prove to be a pain in the ass!
That's a really pretty lake. I'm totally digging your cook set up. I been watching different videos of yours. I went from 5 years ago to this one. Lol 😆 anyway I'm gonna sub. I like the videos please watch for the fires 🔥 here in Washington next to cascades
Hi Brian, I have been to Butte Lake many times. You are so right. She is a beautiful place to visit mother nature. Happy to see your smiling face my friend. Betty Bear
