Laughing here because I begged the publisher to not put "Enchanted Forest" on the book cover, just for this reason, but they refused to change it. Thanks for validating my Virgo need to be right. ;-)

Thank you so much, I was waiting all week to hear what you thought of this deck since I bought the deck myself but have not had a chance to delve into it yet. I was worried since I am really just learning tarot and knew that this didn't exactly follow the RWS deck as far as names. You explained it so well. Now I am not afraid of tackling it.

Hi Liz, I hope you are enjoying your holidays. I have been fighting a cold here too. 💚 This deck is just lovely! The only issue for me is the fish for the Keeper of Visions, not because its a fish but because every other court card has a person, not a big deal anyway. 😊💗

So glad I'm not the only one who calls Forest of Enchantment Tarot the Enchanted Forest Tarot! I've gotten it down now, I think, but I did the same thing. 🙂 I'm so glad you love it. I felt very much like you did when I was first working with it. I just wanted to work with it more and more. I could see the deck becoming an all time favorite. It's straightforward but intricate all at the same time. And the theme is just so cohesive. Not one card in the bunch that didn't feel right. Just amazing. It was nice hearing your enthusiasm for this one, too. ♥️

I often do what I call a This or That spread, I use 2 different decks that give me a feeling of opposites. It is a spread, for me about choices, and paths. Some of my favorites decks for this is Magical Dogs and Mystical Cats, Everyday Enchantment and The Urban Tarot and Tarot of the Trees and the Crow Tarot. As always I really enjoy your weekly reviews. Happy New Year !

I'm not drawn to the Forest of Enchantment deck, but you, Tom B, and Dustin I believe; have spoken highly of it, so I'm considering it more and more... tbd XD So sad and funny your sort of disappointment with the Pathfinder Oracle. I personally love the UFO card and the options, but it is a more... hmmm out there card, so to speak. Best of luck with Mr. Robert M Place and his decks, so looking forward to those reviews!

Spotted this review and had to watch because my copy of Forest of Enchantment will be here soon. One of the mods from a FB group spotlighted some of my favourite cards and I adore the art work. I can’t wait to get my hands on this deck. Love that the guide is in colour!! I like the concept of the oracle having four possibilities of a reading. But I’m not really drawn to the deck itself. I found a kickstarter project based in Ottawa,Canada that is using this concept that I’m backing. I’m curious as to how that will work. I’ll let you know when I get it on FB.

Fantastic description of the suits in the Forest of Enchantment Tarot, I'm so new to tarot that I'm still learning basic symbolism for the RWS suits, and your explanation of boons vs. coins made my brain go boom, neurons firing with ideas and connections. The fold-over Peggy bag is awesome! And I'm adding Robert Place's book to my wanna buy/TBR pile. Thanks for a great video.

I received my shipping notification from Robert Place. I, too, wanted to wait until January to tackle this. When I get back from my next out of town (which is tomorrow) I will be setting out a plan to read and study. I am excited about it.

My mom got me the forest of enchantment tarot for Christmas. I’m so excited to learn with it, my soul feels so called to it 💗 I feel you on that... I sure could spend all day gazing and admiring the artwork!
