Good morning rscrod, I’m about to install a new clutch for my 2003 v rod, screamin’ eagle slipper clutch, my question is, before install the clutch do I need to put the clutch disc on a bath of oil before installing. Thank you so much ☺️
I've herd of people using PVC pipe to set the seal because i can only imagine how much the tool is but knowing how far down the deal should go is the question. What's the depth of the tool that goes in to the slider?
TATAR BALASI just set eavh tube at 1/4 inch. People lower the front end by pushing the fork up to 1 inch but no more. measure from top tree to top of tube where bolt screws into tube. the lowers move up and down so ig you are off by 1/16, no big deal.
