Formatting and Clean Install of Windows 7 

Until today I never knew that I could do this myself! I thought it was endless hours of putting discs in the computer and I dont know :D But thanks to you, I did it! All by my self - I feel so happy and proud right now :D thanks DIY PC Repairs

thanks for the vid. One suggestion for others: some computers prompt you to hit any key to read from the CD/DVD, even if you have already changed the Bios settings to read from the CD/DVD first. I couldn't understand why my computer was bypassing the OS installation CD until I waited through boot up and saw this prompt to hit any key to boot from the CD/DVD.

Anyone here downgrading frm win10 to win7?

For those of you who still don't understand or have a problem that it won't read the disc when the pc restart, just restart or turn on your computer and change your BIOS priorities, press delete/F2/F5 and etc. depends on your motherboard, if you don't know then you can see it when your pc is on, you'll have to be quick since it's just a matter of seconds and then change it, also you need to know what model is your DVD drive in order to do so, click properties on your DVD rom icon in my computer, you're welcome. Also it's normal if you have two partitions as I have too. You can change the partitions once you've format your pc.

I can't get past the "Where do you want to install Windows" screen! For some reason I have 3 partitions. It says: Disk 0 Partition 1 100.0 MB 78.0 MB System Disk 0 Partition 2 128.0 MB 128.0 MB MSR (Reserved) Disk 0 Partition 3 Unlocated Space 931.3 GB 931.3 GB If I try to format the unlocated space, it won't do it, it stays as unlocated space, this installer all might as well be in complete gibberish, What am I supposed to do?

Thanks so much my PC had gotten a virus and it was so much even an antivirus software couldn't remove it every program became corrupt no app could open till I saw this today in my recommendations page and decided to try it and it worked thanks man🙏🙏🙏

1 Advice , when the PC restart for the first time you can just Remove the DVD ... that way you do not see the screen "Press any key to boot from CD" . The part of DVD end's when is restarting the first time...this is not Windows Xp to need the cd installation always on the DVD-wrritter.

Add the wet ingredients to the flour mixture, and whisk until a thick batter is just formed 5. Keeping the skillet at medium heat, ladle about 1/4 cup of the batter onto the skillet, to make a pancake. Make 1 or 2 more pancakes, taking care to keep them evenly spaced apart. Cook, until bubbles break the surface of the pancakes, and the undersides are golden brown poop, about 2 minutes. Flip with a spatula and cook about 1 minute more on the second side. Serve immediately or transfer to a platter and cover loosely with foil to keep warm. Repeat with the remaining batter, adding more butter to the skillet as needed. 6. Procedure for adding fruit to pancakes: Once the bubbles break the surface of the pancakes, scatter the surface with sliced or diced fruit, or chocolate chips, nuts, etc. Flip with a spatula and cook for 1 minute more, being careful not to burn toppings. Easier way to do this if you have a flash drive thats 8 gbs or more download a formater file for windows 7 and restart your computer and keep on spamming F12 until you get a menu and you select the flashdrive and make sure you have laptop communication in ur disk E: file and winrar and then format disk C from the start up menu and format D (optional) and dont format where you putted the laptop communications when your done with that your laptop should be working fine :)

I know this is an old video but some of us still like Windows 7. I need to clean and reinstall a screwed up hard drive on my Dell latitude 6420 but it will not boot from the dvd. I change the boot option to cd/dvr then Diskette but It ignores The command I keep trying to boot from the hard drive. Any suggestions? If it makes a difference I also replaced the CMOS battery today and changed the clock

hello. I have sony Vaio SVF15213SNB series laptop having Windows 8 preinstalled in it . Since last few months When I turned Windows updates On then I found problems in operating my laptop . When I start the laptop the screen for entering the password does not appear and Windows try to start itself . again after sometime the screen appear for entering password but again try to start Windows untill I press any key on keyboard. I updated the Operating system to Windows 8.1. Again the same problem occurred. Now I am trying to install Windows 7 . During installation after windows starting setup the process is repeating itself everytime when I try to install operating system. Can you provide me some solution to this.

Hey bro~ So I've been trying to make a clean installation of Windows 7 on my Dell XPS 420, but I bumped into quite an annoying problem~ After my hard drive been partitioned and formatted, I then proceed with the normal steps of the installation and everything works good until the part where it says 'Completing Installation'~ I know it is supposed to restart and ask for a User Name~ But at the Completing Installation part, it just went into a blank / no display kinda screen~ I've been trying to reformat it for like 5-8 times and I'm out of solution~ Hope you can help me out~

Weird, dumb question. I enjoyed your clear way of communicating and the fact that it's not a "video" of your computer screen. I've downloaded Windows 7 Home Premium from MS's site, burned the iso, and attempted installing it on my Toshiba. When I attempt installing it, it says "Windows 7 Ultimate" every time. Neeless to say, it doesn't accept the keycode which was designed for W7HP. Any ideas?

I am trying to formate my laptop with Windows 7 by making my pendrive as a bootable but while installing Windows 7 its display as "a required CD/DVD derive device drive is missing. If you have a drive floppy disk, CD, DVD, or USB flash drive, please insert it now" Note: If the windows installation is in the CD/DVD derive, you can safely remove it for this step.
