Narration by left guard #63 Dick Knowles (90 years old in 2024); fantastic history and insight from a player from the tough and gritty days of college football in the 1950s. A must watch for any college football fan!
Thank you to Mr. Knowles and his daughter Laurie for sharing his stories!
Kansas (7-3) vs Kansas State (1-9), 1952. Kansas had two All-Americans Gil Riech and Oliver Spencer. The end of the game is missing unfortunately but what is available has fantastic commentary and build up to the game. Kansas went on to win the game 26-6.
