a tom cruise will NEVER EVER experience scientology on the same level a regular sea org member has to. when it comes to TC, the little dictator IS the most tolerant and compassionate blablablabla. because a) they probably got a gay thing going on there b) he is their biggest moneymaker and with the clout of being TC, if HE blows out of scientology, the ""church" is over. plus i think, he's not too kind with "minor" people himself.

Yeah i just feel its a little out dated in this day and age. There are many people in the world that still need it as a guide line but i do see it receding not growing in society.
Dylan Young I personally believe that all religions are BS and the world would be a lot better off if they did not exist. However as Jairus rightly says. Religion is the function that many people need to make sense of death. This was all well and good back in the Stone and Bronze ages but to cling to religions in the 21st century, is to me very naive and gullible.
@@andygray I totally agree! I am an atheist. There are 2600 religions in the world. It all depends on your parents and where you were born. If I was born in India, I would probably be hindu. Just read Christopher Hitchens book, "God is not great: religion poisons everything"
Hearsay is not admissible in a court of law. Since nobody has infiltrated Scientology, there is no actual first hand evidence. There have been criminal investigations but nothing that would be a convincing case to put in front of a jury.

Cindy he is almost worshipped by Scientology because according to their own propaganda he is "clearing the planet". Whatever he wants all he has to do is drop a hint and all the (almost) free labor and tax exempt resources of Scientology make it happen for him. He is Scientology's golden boy and they would literally hide bodies for him. With that kind of power and believing his own propaganda, he has no motives to go anywhere anytime soon. They have made him a prisoner of his own pride.
You would think science fiction writer would have been all people needed to hear for this guy to lose all credibility but it wasn't.. On the building she was kept in called 'The Hole' there were literally bars placed on the only door which was guarded. Even if she had wanted to leave the abuse of this place, she was so brainwashed and indoctrinated that she wouldn't leave even if the door was opened for her. They are brainwashed to believe that everything that they suffer is due to something that they have done and need to acknowledge this prior to getting out of this prison. The psychological effect of living in that place was so overwhelming that they couldn't think logically for themselves anyway. When their now psychotic leader locked all these high ranking members in 'The Hole', they have stated that they would not have left even if the FBI had turned up to free them. They would have stated that they chose this situation. This is the extent of the brainwashing involved in this Cult.

Julie Drea I tead the agreement she was made to sign to get rid of Scientology oppression and it is the ultimate gag order. She is not allowed to ever speak again to anyone about scientology or hang out with scientologists or ex scientologists etc etc etc. She is OWNED. The Church completely gagged and immobilised her like a spider a fly. I felt sick reading it. It goes on and on and it strips her of everything. Why is it that with all other religions that have been around for hundreds of years people don't find the great need to escape from them and compelled to speak out against it as much as they do with Scientology? That right there might tell you that the accusations are true.

Many forget the internet was not always around. Many people got into this cult back before the term "cult" was even well known. There was no way to research a new religion easily and they touted such marvelous things, like being better able to communicate with your family. They may have had children in the cult who were deprived of television and were disallowed from hearing any controversy about the cult. Their breaking free of this heinous group is almost a miracle.

It baffles me why people like this don't just walk out. Not pay thousands of dollars for an audit they are forced to endure. Why do people allow themselves to be abused and locked away. That is a crazy, messed up group.
But why the government doesn’t close them down? My best friend has depression and he joined them he doesn’t talk to me I see him and he ignores me he says to go away and almost cries. I know he’s being forced to do stuff but he doesn’t want to speak
