@William Gates : For the record, I might be a dickhead (harsh, blunt) but I'm not a sneaky snake. my interest in people is genuine, unlike his. had you spent time in psychiatry (I did) you might understand more. Why do you think Narconon is everywhere ? They prey on addicts. Unbalanced people are often good people, who can't reign in their emotions, are too sensitive. Tony Ortega uses those who took refuge from Scientology into the good care of his forum. That's no care. Some have gone mental there.
@Alcoon Slambag : No. If you have not yet spent time on his forum, I urge you to do so for a few months, or a few weeks. If you have I will discuss a few points at length. He writes a blog (although he is an accomplished journalist) because he is biaised and feeds on many people who keep an eye on it and participate, some who recently joined. But try to defend any aspect of scientology/ists and you're done. Trash any previous belief or member and you're welcome (even if you're a fraud, they've had some) but go for a softer touch...you'll be out in no time. Forgiveness is not Scientologist, it's not Ortega either.
Former members should join together and file a Class Action lawsuit against the Church of Scientology for cheating them out of their money and abusing them both mentally and physically.
Pretty sure that is going on. The problem is all the money Scientology has to defend their selves and the plaintiffs just don't have the funds. The Scientologists keep putting shit off and extrending shit to make the ex members run out of funds. Ruthless Scientology lawyers will literally try to destroy you. And never make a deal so even if they were to win if wouldn't be fincially smart. Than if you lose, they can and will sue you for lawyer fees. Crazy shit
Well, a class action doesn't go very far, when the statute of limitations runs out on the injured parties. Cult decompression is a complicated thing, but Scientology is even more dicey, thanks to their militant propaganda against mental health. It takes YEARS if not decades for ex-cult members to understand they were abused, and even then, there's only a handful of deprogrammers in the world (like Jon Atak) who are even willing to tackle the issue, much less do it successfully.
I have to laugh out loud when I hear the quote made by Tom Cruise, where he very seriously states that the most important people in the world are L. Ron Hubbard, David Miscavige, then him...lol. Yeah Tom, a rich, spoiled, narcissistic, abusive actor, who is one of only 20,000 remaining members of the cult of Scientology world-wide, is the 3rd most important person in the world. What Tom Cruise and David Miscavige fail to mention about their own "ranks" within the only 20,000 remaining members of Scientology world-wide is that they are completely self-imposed ranks.
Ellen Dunsmore I’m sure his buddy arranged for him to have women when he needs them he ain’t giving them up! Toms getting free booty probably from young girls that won’t say a word because of threats! These people are sick in the head!
I will never pay to see a tom cruise movie. Tom Cruise supports scientology. Scientology abuses people. Tom Cruise is in fact an abusive person. Most people wouldn't support a cult that abuses and exploits not to mention rips families apart. How do you know everyone who works with him loves him? Ive never heard or seen anyone stand next to him an say they love him and he's a great guy. I never seen in print any other actors hanging out with him ive never seen him honored for any charity or have I seen him participating in any humanitarian causes or relief efforts
"THE ONLY WAY YOU CAN CONTROL PEOPLE IS TO LIE TO THEM. You can write that down in your book in great big letters. The only way you can control anybody is to lie to them." - L. Ron Hubbard
A lie is not enough to control people , not in the long run, and I doubt he said that, and if he did it was taken out of context to give people the wrong idea. People , sooner or later, will figure out that they are being lied to. If you are lieing to yourself, then , yes, you can be controlled by your own, personal lie for a year or the rest of your life. Jesus said that the truth will set you free and Lafayette Ronald Hubbard proved Jesus was right, through the Scientific Method.
I'm sure being unbalanced is a prerequisite to get a place the hierarchy. Some of those who got out are awfully cold. Their purpose have changed but they are ruthless and think as they were taught (Chris sheldon)
It never ceases to amaze me how few people know about L. Ron Hubbard’s longterm relationship with Jack Parsons, going back to when they were both in Naval Intelligence together. Parsons was an open Luciferian and black magick practitioner who went on to invent & develop solid rocket booster fuel for a proto-NASA. Parsons was an *extremely dark* character (as was Hubbard). Aleister Crowley, Parsons’ personal mentor and close friend, was widely known to have said that Parsons was ‘the most important member in the OTO and possibly on the planet’. It’s long been known that Parsons and Hubbard had made a bet between themselves, on which one could first invent a fake religion/cult, that would fool dumb people into joining and voluntarily giving all their money over to the cult. Goes without saying, Hubbard won that bet. Basically, Scientology is nothing more than a thinly veiled Luciferian cult. And the fact that Scientology was granted 501 (c) (3) status is outrageous and proves beyond any doubt (as if there ever really was any) that the IRS is corrupt to its very core.
And now that demonic entity has been doubled in size thanks to Biden. I want to ask if things could possibly get worse but I'm afraid I already know the answer. 😟
The Church I attended, almost all of my life, never made one terrible statement about anybody who decided to not worship with us. We came and went as we pleased, we volunteered, if we so desired. Scientology has such cruel things to say about their ex members, I cannot imagine how they can break bread together and have any kind of fellowship. A - Ron, you are a fine man and I’m very glad you decided to leave Scientology.
No matter what we continue. So proud of TO and PC and the rest of the courageous warriors, the nonnnies who carry the torch for the survivors and their loved ones. We will overcome. I rewatched the Aftermath and cried even more the second time. We are living human beings who are so comassionate these are the people who deserve justice.
It was 3 minutes out of the entire interview. He was very polite and nice. I think Scientology is completely fucking ridiculous, however I surely wouldn't call the interview "that Ribisi embarrassment". I thought the boys did a great job, and Giovanni was lovely.
I'm so glad all this shit is finally coming out for real against this awful organization. And I thank south park for shoving it in the average persons face
It was pretty good, and all good fun. And they were restricted to this one airing at the time. Perish the idea of having one deal about a movie with Tom Cruise. That's what it came to. Tom Cruise 's veto. That actor can't sign a deal without having everyone under his thumb if he thinks it's needed. the story is he shut them down, and for once, I think the story is true. South Park was attacked by Scientology and scientology won.
@@auntisthenes2754 Did it win? Jenna Miscavige herself said she first heard about the Xenu parts from South Park, which eventually lead to her leaving the church and writing a tell-all book for even more people to see. South Park is still on the air going after bigger targets like China. Meanwhile Scientology is having multiple schisms and bleeding members, relying solely on a handful of wealthy individuals. Scientology may have had a pyrrhic victory, but South Park is winning the war.
@@Bob-lr2xp : I don't think that's why she left. But it's a good thing. Actors and big earners may be cherished, but others are wasting away. It's pretty ironic that one of them embodies the feminist fight on a TV show about a religious dystopian America
@@noname-by3qz The handmaid's tale. The story of a woman trapped in an integrist evangelist america struck with infertility. Following biblic stories of the servant becoming a surrogate, fertile women are used as broodmares by families in power, most barren women are indentured servants, some are drill sargeants responsible for their indoctrination at all cost, free women are forbidden to read, etc. Very dark. And ironically the heroin is interpreted by a scientologist.
I grew up in a Catholic Family. And when my brother walked away, no one in the Church ordered me or my family to break off all contact with him, much less attack him personally.
It's totally unfair. The Nazi's weren't tax exempt. The Mafia isn't. The Manson family didn't have a tax exempt status. ISIS isn't. None of Scientology's peers are tax exempt. Maybe Trump has it exactly right.

The founder of Scientology, L. Ron Hubbard, was a follower of Aleister Crowley. Alot of Crowley's philosophies were integrated into Scientology.
Ron lived in the "Parsonage" with Jack Parsons (rocket engineer/occult magician) and was friends with him. Jack ran the Agape Lodge of the O.T.O. and Ron helped with his magic rituals where he tried to summon and communicate with spirits (what the church would call devil worship). They completed the Babylon working in the desert together in 1946 to summon a goddess to earth as a part of a plan to create a new messiah (what any normal person would call some pretty weird stuff). Hubbard was a good Sci-Fi writer, but he was not the kind of guy who I'd consider a role model for a new religion.
For all the money people give to this church and the truly lack of progression in "clearing" the world, can you imagine ways that money could have been better spent to help others?
I was a Scientologist but my contract came to a end last week and I just thought that after serving one billion years that I was going to have a break for a while 😉
I tried to promote that book at a Scientology book fair . watch out they don't like that book Tony Ortega is #1 hated by Scientology and I found out the hard way .
@@michael-4k4000 Rube, every ancient culture had myths but not the Jews? The high point between three continents is a geopolitically strategic place, Cupcake. @@Mrs.TJTaylor LOLLLLL!! For real! I think the ending of this Cult will come when the FBI finally digs their head out of their asses, they arrest and convict Miscaviage for the war like crimes he has committed.....then during interrogation, Miscaviage blames TC for everything, implicating him in all the horrible shit this Cult does to people. The "Church" will then disavow Cruise & label him a SP, kicking him out of his 'I'm a God's club and only then.....after TC realizes that this Cult doesn't have a Fuk to give about him and only wanted his money all along.....only then will he take a stand, denounce this Cult to the public, take back his life and maybe, just maybe, he will make an attempt to see his long lost daughter again (who he won't be able to reconnect with because she is really Miscaviage's child.) The FBI would have to spend years debriefing him with countless hours of free psycho therapy before his mushed up brain matter can start to take form again. By then he will be old & feeble and will realize that he wasted not only 3 marriages and a relationship with his daughter, but his entire adult life being scammed by a con artist. Lol!! That's my take on it at least! #rescueTC #debrief #Gethimout #Agoodmanwasted #killthecultthatkilledTC
I think some disliked it because of the way the hosts did the interview. There are less scientologists allowed to go on the internet and comment on a vid covering scientology
I like Jim & Sam. Jim is the comedian & Sam is the thinker on the show, who's always thinking about facts, or he's looking for the Back Story. Actually they work well together. Check back on the video at 27:00 to 28:08 & 28:30 to 30:40. There's laughs, some joking but all in all, you can get a lot. At least I did. So yeah, I like their shows that they've put on RU-vid....
I escaped from the rehab called Narconon, in Harlingen, TX. It was all the same bullshit, based on scientology. I went in not knowing what the fuck it was and left with more stories of messed up shit than most crap other people have. It is all true, they are nuts... they make you pay to work there after you go through the rehab. If you do wanna get kicked out really fast, simply ask your case worker... "How do I get tickets to the mothership???" and within an hour you will be outta there. Never send anyone there it is all complete and utter bullshit. They know nothing about actually getting and staying sober. They simply are all about money, and wacked shit from a failed science fiction writer... a fat disgusting one at that.
@@JT-rb2cj Aside from look who's talking, he hadn't done much in the 80s after Saturday night fever. It was well known that pulp fiction revived a slumping career. He said as much
They made the girl that dated Tom Cruise take her braces off before she was supposed to, dye her hair darker, so she would look more like her Persian heritage, & they told her things about her boyfriend in his file to make her break up with him. She had a migraine, when she had dinner with David Miscaviage & he & Tom Cruise went off on her. And Katie Holmes was auditioned to be his girlfriend.
THE GIRL was Nazanin Boniadi and I have heard more of her than Katie Holmes. She openly rebelled and good for her. She made her place, even shines on the little screen. Where is Katie Holmes ?
Look at what Scientology really is, it's actual origins it's SYMBOLOGY and the integral part it plays in The Brotherhood/The Syndicate you guys. . Come onnn ! This world IS owned and controlled by an uber-elite satanic worshipping Banking cartel Cabaal - the 'Illuminati' the Crypto Jews, Zionists, Jesuits and other 'high order' secret society groups. Hollywood high level employees, actresses and all, ARE part of this Cabaal - FACT. They are the agents of change, the Influencers of Social Engineering with the ideas coming out of the Tavistock Institute, Fabian Society etc. and the other big Round Table groups, Foundations associated. Look at and research what I'm saying if even slightly unsure. To get work, especially the top jobs, they MUST be in the Brotherhood.. But they must always aspire to the higher degrees too and show who they really work for. Ref: Tom cruise and other Hollywood elites show Illuminati hand symbols m.ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mLvE8n5dSyQ.html When an actor gets his her Equity Card, SAGAFTRA Card - they start into the masonic occult world of 'acting'. Scientology is absolutely part of this Brotherhood now, but perhaps much more likely - always was. We can know them by what they communicate in their symbols, which is new age luciferian symbology. Research this properly with intellectual honesty to see what we're telling you. No one at all has been saying this - but it needs to be said - the truth. Perhaps DM was bought. Perhaps he was a CIA or other Intelligence plant - whatever. Scientology is now - and likely always has been (originates from) in LRH's early days, the Alistair Crowley elite's satanic cult The OTO, whilst living with Jack Parsons the early pre-NASA, JPL rocket scientist; an integral sub group of the 'Elite' Illuminati New World Order Brotherhood. LRH was likely working under US Naval Intelligence which is owned and controlled - as is the CIA, MI6 etc. by those BEHIND the veil. Of course, the establishment cabaal own the vatican, the Central Banking cartel, the world's major monotheistic religions, biggest corporations , big oil, big tech, the world's Secret Intelligence Agencies, pretty much everything else in any event, so you can see where this is going. Scientology announced in about 1993 that it became Tax - exempt finally. That was NOT likely given FREE. It had to really join the fold we suggest and give the Deep State full access to its files perhaps. Truth is NOT always stranger than fiction - or science fiction it seems. Research is always best. You might want to start here, for real truth seekers only : tabublog.com/2017/07/11/the-holy-grail-of-who-they-are-that-rule-over-us-all/ Perhaps do some real research now and start really telling the truth. Wake up sheeple ! Wake up a friend or family member or colleague with this new (to you & most commenting apparently) hidden in plain sight - truth information. 🐑😴😣😲 👍 🙏
Child abuse. That's all I heard when the guests was talking about the young woman suing the Scientology organization and explaining what she had experienced there as a 12 YO, being expected to sign a billion year contract, working like that (!!!!) and being punished for expressing missing her own mother! It's child abuse. It's emotional exploitation and neglect and forced labour of a minor. Horrible. Hate it. Also, why is crazy so fascinating sometimes..lol. This Scientology nuttiness is something to behold and something to be checked in on for real without influence from the organization of any sort, I think, and if all these insider escapees are telling the truth it needs to be stopped, like a billion years ago. Just listened to Growing Up In Scientology interview. I listen to YT while working and I work alot, haha, but that was taped back in 2001!!! (Posted later obviously). How is this kind of thing going on?! Having little kids hunt for rattlesnakes on the property for $$, small children picking lice out of other children's hair, living in mold and filth with no hot water in large neglected apartment or office buildings, chipping paint from old metal bunk bed frames, no parent interaction from very early in the morning to 12:00 midnight, no oversight by any adults for hours or days? Serious injuries with no medical care until the parent that normally is kept away from the child comes to get them and take them due to cost and effort??? WTH? Is this all real? How can it happen?
Kudos to Tony for trying to keep the conversation lucid. The guy in the dark blue t-shirt was embarrassingly not funny. The best thing to render Scientology harmless is simply not to get involved in the first place. Scientology can re-invent itself as a plaything of the stars without doing too much damage, if wealthy people want to throw money at Scientology let them. In the meantime there needs to be a groundswell of public opinion against Scientology that is going to keep people well-informed about just how destructive it is.
I live at the west end of Scientology Row on Hollywood Boulevard, which is about a mile long and is composed of a dozen classic 1930s buildings, Including the famous Knickerboker Hotel. About ten years ago, just for fun, I started composing a song called "I'm Clear!" and it's really good and I sing it loudly when I pass the Scientology buildings. No negative response...yet.
Even in the worse case scenario (Excomunication) the Catholic Church would NEVER ask other Catholics to shun/disconect/ isolate the person, not would it ever ask a father to disconnect from a son, etc. It is absolutely NOT the same at all... Breaking up families in this way is THE MARK of a pernicious CULT.
In fact, one of my favorite vape-shop is not far from the general area he's talking about in Lake Arrowhead. It's fucking insane. There are some unsettling people around there. Btw appreciate the retweets guys, I do mean it. Your show has rapidly become among my favorite's of all time online.
I bought The Bridge from 0 to OT3, around $100,000. After they had my money they said: "you didn't buy anything, we don't owe you anything, you made a donation to the Church. Scientology made me homeless. I eat food from dumpsters now.
Tony says around 26:30 that The Hole no longer exists, but the two double wide trailer homes are still visible on both Google Maps and Google Earth. Maybe they've been re-purposed. If you check out Gold Base on Google Earth, it's rendered in 3D which makes for a slightly more detailed view of the buildings and grounds. It becomes much more apparent that the two double wides stand in stark contrast to the other buildings, some of which look positively palatial. Real estate, private investigators, "squirrel busters" ("squirrels" are ex-members who still use Scientology tools), lawyers and lawsuits. That's what Scientology does with its tax-exempt money. 20,000 members worldwide, dwindling by the day.
When so many people are reporting that people are held against their will and Shelly miscavage had been missing for years, why can’t law enforcement go in there?
i went to 4 Scientology classes in 1993 they charged me 45 an - hour. now it's a 1000 an hr. it was a crock of SHIT back then, 2017 even more of a crock of SHIT
I don't know if Tom Cruise is gay, but I think he's nodding that way, he marries women for publicity, for his image as an Action man but I think he prefers the company of men, there's something not right with Tom Cruise
Once again, L. Ron Hubbard was a freaking "Science Fiction" writer!! He was just trying stuff to see what would happen. It's almost like pro wrestling: they lied & lied for decades about it all being a "work" and then, finally, said "what the hell, lets just tell the world because they're so stupid, they'll still follow along. And you know what, they were right!
