Even in the first two levels there are some optimizations you could make. In level 1, you only need to save 1 lemming, so optimum would be to have the others explode right as the first lemming exits. In level 2, you could give all the lemmings umbrellas, but wait until they are *just* off the ground before you do, as they fall faster without one.
In a later level he waits with the umbrellas till they are close to ground so he knows this. But there are really a lot of possible optimizations in the whole run. I think lemmings isn't a very popular speedrun game so the runners don't crowd at the top in milliseconds range like with other games.
My mum and I used to play this on cdi. Good times, I now play on the snes(bought second hand one just to be able to play). Forever wishing they make a hd/new version for switch.
Yes it's doable in fun but rather risky in a single segment run on other difficulties. I've actually already improved this time quite a bit (now it's about 36 minutes). Going to upload new run when I'm happy with the time.
This version looks different from the one I played.. the levels are the same but some things like effects, music and some sounds change.. this one has more.. do you know why?
