yeah, the old ferrari add on IMO beat the hell out of any other wheel they have available but it still left alotttt to be desired. Cant wait to get this. Sucks its taking til august to reach Canada.
@@Riese79 yes it does, have you set it up properly? It’s complicated to set up but works perfect when you’ve done it. You also have to update your wheel base AND wheel prior to fitting the wheel to your servo base
Finally got it set up on ps5. Just gotta get it set to your phone after update software into laptop after you download file from Thrustmaster. All lights are working 👍
@@squip2061 yeah the rs, and the t300 servo base too, practically anything in the thrustmaster range apart from the lower stuff, I'm pretty sure they have a list of compatible bases

Thanks in particular for the UDP section of this video , I want to get a dashboard displayed on my sf1000 screen when playing AC . I have not tried to do it yet but believe what you have shown in that section will allow me to do exactly that. Thanks and best wishes Brian aka g0rlbm.
You also need to update the firmware on the wheel BEFORE installing the paddle shifters...otherwise you need to take them off again to update the wheel.
I really hope you can compete with the fanatec DD. I like your ecosystem better with the wheels but chances are most people go over to the fanatec because of its price. I really hope you come up with something great! Thanks
@@Miguel-th3wx All depends, now the csldd is 349 with the stock power supply and you can get pedals for $99 and a wheel for $299. It puts it around with the TS-PC Racer (which is still belt driven) After fanatec came out with a great direct drive system for cheap (a basic type, nowhere neat the DD1 or DD2) now Thrustmaster if forced to compete. I would get thustmaster because of the this wheel, otherwise Fanatec is better in every angle you look at it.
So SOOOO SOOOOOO cool, such a sweet rim, just a massive shame about that QR and the fact TM don't have better bases! Time for Fanatec to lift their game on the Formula rims now. and time for TM to bring out a DD ;)
Makes me want to get a thrustmaster again with stuff like this amazing job I had a problem with mine like 2 months after getting it had a short would stop working and work again besides that I like the feel of it a went with fanatec cus I had a warranty and they said it had to be refunded and I had to get another one cus when I got it was on sale but I bull had bad Customer service if they fix that I would not mind buying into the Eco system
When your updating the firmware do you just plug the t300rs motor w/ the sf100 wheel on it into a desktop via USB and then do the update?? or how are you getting the firmware to get to the t300rs motor unit? Im on a ps4, what would happen if i bought thr sf100 and put it on my t300rs and tried to start racing, would wheel just not work if i didnt update the firmware??

When real steer wheel add-ons? You know, just plug it in and take it out whenever you want to use another wheel. That would be a gigantic step forward.

Please give us xbox users full access to display like ps5 users..including delta time, f1 engine displays , sector times , plus more graphics in f1 mode that are missing! ,its there for ps4/5 users (and UDP son no reason it can't have them) if simdash can do it via UDP why not an "official wheel" ? Still have playstation exclusivity deal for sure , please tell us next time not hide away in online support section!
Yo tengo un problema, lo configure el primer día y no ha vuelto a funcionar se queda siempre diciendo que UDP OFF en la pantalla, no sé si es por la fibra que el aro se conecta a una red y la consola a la de 5g... Pero no hay manera de que vuelva a funcionar, y no se reseterarlo
Hello Thrustmaster, very nice wheel! Still I have to wait to get it (I hope for some retailers shipping to MX at August 26th) I'm an xbox user, so I undertand that the LCD display works only wifi connection for xbox (one & series) with games like F1 2020 . So my questions is if this wheel has fully button functionality with that game for xbox? And what about F1 2021 with xbox users? I just want to know if this wheel will be fully functional for xbox like already is in PC and PS5, p!ease!
It does not have full functionality of all buttons, which is an XBox limitation, not Thrustmaster. It does work with F1 2021. You have to go into telemetry settings and set the UDP output to 2020 rather than 2021 and the wheel works perfectly.
@@jonathandavis4423 I’m an Xbox user, with a TS-XW base wheel, now I’m happy with the Open Wheel anyway. So the main point with this SF1000 wheel is that Microsoft played so bad with current nextgen consoles with limited button functionality, so since some years no Kinect games or VR in console yet too. So a step back in Microsoft, come on! Other true point is that Thrustmaster recently has been so bad in sales logistic for sim racing, because at the international launch date of this wheel, they where unavailable to have enough stock around the world, I was sad that day because I wanted this wheel and I was trying to catch it at the international launch, I was in time (in my region MX) looking through all amazons group... and nothing, not only me, I bet thousands of sim racing players too, really? So for xbox users I think is too expensive with limited options. Past is past and now my Open Wheel has been so nice ;)
More games will be integrated natively or via UDP connection in the future to operate the display functions and LED lighting for this steering wheel. We will add them on this page : support.thrustmaster.com/en/product/ferrarisf1000addon

Really cool wheel. but i am curious what thrustmaster has plans for in future with competetors like Fanatec releasing a wheel at lower price range to compete with this eco system. no hate just curious to se the future i have t500rs
Is there any way to actually map every button and encoder on the ps4? Just looking at the PS4 ACC mapping and it is a shame that you cannot use all of the buttons!
sf1000 have gear problems and frozen screen problems, if you play on a ps4. Had the same problem on two sf1000 wheel add-on until I return it. If you buy T-Chrono paddles may solve the problem for a while, it work for me for 4 months.. but the problem always comes back at some point. Sf1000 has more problems too, if you own a T300-base then you will lose force feedback a lot.. you must buy a GT 2-base. If you play on a PS4 don't buy sf1000 wheel add-on. it will cost a lot of money for something that doesn't work and a lot of time.
If i put the cable in my PC it says the switch has been set to the wrong position 1) unplug the USB cable 2) put the switch to the left position (on ps3 other or pc) 3) reconnect the USB cable
i cant seem to get it to work i have downloaded and installed it perfectly the steering works but none of the buttons work neither any of the shifts.... please help

Having issues with the paddle shifters, during racing and in the menus. The up shift is not recognising at all and downshift has to be pressed multiple times for it to be even recognised once. I tried unscrewing the paddle shifters and screwing it in a specific order I found on reddit but it’s still not working. If anyone else is having this issue please help.

it's just to solidify the wheel from the wheelbase to make sure its not removing when playing. Or to make sure its not removed from the New Quick Release (T818 DD)
I just bought the SF1000 and T-GT II and I wanted to try it out on F1 2021 or F1 2019. Both don't work. When I go to the menu for controllers it doesn't show the option to choose wich steering wheel you are using. I only see controller 1 and 2. When i choose the original steering wheel of the T-GT II it does work. What do I need to do to make the SF1000 to work in F1 2021 or F1 2019? I did the update.
