I found out the best way to have the seatbelt chime disabled is to just be fat and have the seatbelt extenders always plugged in.

The reason you can disable the seat belt chime is because a lot of work trucks people are in and out all day driving at relatively low speeds on a job site. The chime would get annoying real fast

Back seat reminder can be disabled through the Sync4 screen. Global window up/down is in the spreadsheet (fronts only, no rears). Have not seen remote start activation yet.

You can have your mirrors fold in on the 2021 (on models with auto fold) just by going into your vehicle's settings and turning it on. You couldn't do it without forscan on 15-20's. Great video guys, thank you and I look forward to more items being unlocked. Especially auto start/stop.

Okay, so 'Bambi' mode on an F150 is when I flash back with my Mercedes Laser high-beams back that are only legal on the Autobahn in Germany and can shine for 2800 ft at 160mph. If it's a joust you want, a joust you shall get lol ...I'll win this one out, as well as the 0-150+ mph. Payload, towing, ground clearance, I'll just pass that W to you now Joking aside (sort of, My E63 wont be replaced) but I am looking at purchasing a F150 Lariat hybrid, so your vids are helpful

You don’t have to change values to use a lot of diff features. If you go into the sec option that says as built all you do is enable and disable options much safer than the older ways of change the values.

Thanks for watching Joey! That is true. When I made the video the 21 was very new and most of those shortcuts were not in place yet. It takes time for the Forscan team to add those in as users find the correct values over time. That's why it's always a good idea to check for a new version of Forscan from time to time. Some of the more advanced features still require manual values to be changed or for multiple controllers to have changes made simultaneously.

@@BackroadDriver Any time you update your FORScan software, you should always fully rescan the vehicle (don't let FORScan load your previous profile - delete it). Same goes for if you have a module added or replaced on your vehicle. If you don't force a full rescan, FORScan won't know about it.

Be prepared to wait a while. I ordered mine in January and still hasn't been built. They produce the space white trucks at the KC plant, which is currently on shutdown until at least June 1st

Subscribed...got a 21 Tremor with the 402a package and have heard a lot about the capabilities Ford legally can't do, but you can with Forscan. I bought the module and I know nothing about how to use Forscan....this video was AMAZING to give me insight into what it can do and how to use it! Also didn't know that Ford gave the Ecoboost fake engine noise, that makes me sad 😒

It's unknown at this point. Wiring could be the problem. If it can be done someone will try it and let everyone in the forums know. There are guys wanting to add 4A on an XLT as well. It was done on the previous generation so nothing is impossible.

I subscribed 2019 Lariat isn’t it illegal to run Bambi mode in most states? No more than 4 lights on at same timeI think.

Good question. I'm not 100% sure that this would count as more than four lights. The lights shining down the road would only be the high beam, low beam, and the fog light. The outer LED lights are not functional but just markers. You would have more than four lights visible with most factory systems these days. We live in Tennessee and the laws are a little bit more relaxed. I doubt you would get pulled over since none of these lights are aftermarket but make sure you follow all rules in your area.

That was one of the first features available. You can optionally disable the light on the switch from illuminating as well.

Right now to stay in sport mode the only thing you can do is hit okay after startup if you were in sport mode before you turned the truck off. We'll see if that changes in the future. For right now forscan can only do so much.

Just do the free foreskin license. It needs to be updated every few months but it's not hard at all to do.

I think I remember seeing an issue where turning off the door chime caused an issue and someone came up with a fix for it. Search the thread on the F-150 forum. I'm sure there is some info on it there.

TIL there is the mirror auto-fold and the “Lincoln” operation is different and most likely better. I had disabled the version that came on the truck. I’m going to give the Lincoln functionality auto-fold a go.

You are correct. That's never been an option on an F-150 before. I didn't even realize that when I made the video. If someone is adding folding mirrors to their truck or if they want the Lincoln style where it closes when you lock the truck it can be done with Forscan.

@@grimakastatik So right! Not yet, I suspect that will be a tough one to turn off ... I used a LOT of heavy duty duct tape around and over the speaker to tone it down a bit - but I think it tries harder to be LOUDER? I sometimes feel it in the cab?!

The current version of the spreadsheet lists "Disable Pedestrian Alert Speaker". I don't have a PB, so I can't vouch for it, but it was one of the first features on the spreadsheet.

OTA’s are good. Custom tuning and OTA’s might be an issue.

If an OTA updates a particular module SW and you lose your FORScan changes, you'll need to reapply them for that module. Same goes if you were to take it in and they performed SW updates via FDRS. I maintain a list of all the changes I've made to my truck. I actually note all changes in the FORScan spreadsheet right next to each feature I enable/disable/change.
