As a Ford Dealership Technician since 1987 and a Ford Senior Master since 1999, you are correct. Changing the "As Built" data will not affect ones "warranty". On a side note......even Ford's IDS will not allow us to change engine "tuning" either. That is done via Ford and their calibration updates. Again, I am speaking strictly from a Dealership level. man out of 20+ vids and hours of research your the first person to be upfront and say you cant tune with this. im disappointed in the industry for being so mis leading for views and what not as well as gatekeeping. this is why mechanics are dwindling the old heads make it hard as can be for us young guys trying to learn. sad. not you though thanks for the solid info

Iv watched all your videos regarding forscan. However I’m having trouble connecting to all modules. I went from sync 1 to sync 3 and the Bluetooth feature needs adjusted which I knew from your videos but forscan connects to the truck but won’t connect to all the modules. I have intelligent1tech connect remotely and they couldn’t figure it out either. Do you have any advice?

Got a 2020 F150 XLT, just recently installed side mirrors with fold, puddle light, heat, and spotlight. I've used FORScan before so I've got my original as-built profile saved. Went to load old data into new modules and it only found 3 modules; PCM, ACM, and APIM. Says 3 DTCs on PCM, 2 for new door modules and Invalid Data for Body Control Module. Says unable to read for ACM and APIM DTCs. I've got a custom tune and have read somewhere to restore factory tune during this process, I did that and it does the same thing. It only brings up PCM module, ACM and APIM modules. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

So I have a New HP Windows 11 Home laptop. I am trying to get it setup for Forscan use. I have it on my old Dell laptop but want to install on my new laptop. I have downloaded the latest version for today as of 10/30/2023 version. I am applying for the license use. How do I find my "Hardware ID"? I clicked ctrl+v and get nothing. I've went to my device manager and there is a ton to select from. From what exactly am I to choose to right click and get properties from within device manager? Any help? Thanks

How much does Forscan cost, including a year or so license and the required adapter for a notebook computer? Ballpark $50, $500 or $2000? Just need to reprogram Ford Escape ECM for a different (rebuilt) transmission valve body.

I used Forscan yesterday to program keys for my 2005 Ford Taurus...of course I had to pay for the Extended License which is good for a year, so I've got a year subscription that I can mess around with if I wish...the $12 I paid for the 1 year license was well worth it to get additional keys programmed for the car since they're chipped. Worked great, took about a half hour to get both keys added, but feel a lot better having a couple spare keys...I'm thinking of going in and deleting the programmed keys because it says there's 7 keys programmed to my car including the 3 I have currently, so there are 4 keys floating around out there to my car and might delete them and reprogram the keys I have removing the other 4 unknown keys from being able to start the car. The only thing stopping me is I've never done that before so kind of afraid of deleting the keys and then not being able to program the keys and having a useless vehicle requiring a wrecker to get it to a dealer to have it fixed.

if you have the exact and same truck and transfer(PCM and Pats system) from the one is working to the one is not working your think is still need it programmed

Date May 1 2024... here's the short version... forscan sucks... i cant BUY a lifetime version... I refuse to RENT software... because next year they will raise the price... if the tool is good enough to have... its good enough to buy.... to rent and remain a subject to someone else's whims on pricing....no i cant get the goddamn software/admins to send to me the activation codes I cant get my windows 10 laptop to connect to my 2017 F150 there is no link to communicate with the admins all together...this is just another Russion scam

Dude, just show us the procedure - the first half of the video is irrelevant there is also a pause button on your video devise so we don't have to watch you spread paper almost 10-minutes in. Show us the steps and delete the first half of your video of you, it's about the actual process - stay on point, start with "Step 1 Download" not watching you for 10-minutes, it's about the process, start and end there that is what we are on here looking for.
