Why Fortnite Reload saved Chapter 5 Season 3 

The problem is that most people loved og season because it was an escape from all the sweats, and we could play more tactical and not every game is about that 2 players dominate the whole lobby. The meta nowdays supports that but those old metas dont. What was good about the OG season is that is the play style of the players and the fights we had in it. This gamemode brought back SOME of the old weapons(with their new looks) but many guns are in that was never in chapter 1 or even chapert 2, so you can't get that OG feeling nor the different type of games and fights we had. This gamemode is like a tilted zone wars or something, and everyone os sweating, and everyone is going to be bored of it in a week, I don't think anyone play a zonewars paced game for a longer time than 1 week, so for me it is really a miss

I didn't play since CH2S3 and login in this seasons feels so weird. Fortunately Reload mode made it slightly better

I don’t like the route their taking in general like I don’t wanna hop on Fortnite look for reload or BR and instead find 15 different tycoons at the top of the screen😢

Am I playing a completely different game than everyone else? Or are you embellishing how much people dislike this season? I've loved it since the beginning. It changed up the formula a ton. It feels really fresh. And for the first time in months, I feel like the game actually has some real personality again. The Battle Pass skins consistent with the wasteland theme (other than Pea Body, obviously) have so much detail and fit SO well together. The superstyles are some of the best in many seasons. Metallica's presence in Festival, Racing, and BR is phenomenal and super fun and cool. I love the little things they've been adding throughout the season. And Fortnite Reload, while it's not my thing, is still really neat to have and seems to be making a lot of people very happy with its Chapter 1 vibes and art style and stuff. I don't know. There has been very little I haven't enjoyed. Every match I've done has been so exciting and fun. The only thing I have complained about is that I wish there were some counter for opponents getting in your car. I don't know how they'd achieve that, but I think that would be a good thing to explore possibly. I know some people were not fans of the nerfs. I'll agree with some of them bringing the fun down a little bit. Extending the cooldown between uppercuts on the nitro fists was definitely the most severe for me. After the nitro splash nerf, I haven't noticed much difference. I'm still able to shouldercharge through buildings, it just takes one more hit to break down the wall. In a way I find that to be even more satisfying when I'm trying to bring down a whole structure. One thing I want is for them to give more incentive to off-road tires. The choice between machine gun and grenade launcher / cow catcher and spiked bumper, there are clear advantages and disadvantages. But with tires, bulletproof tires are better 100% of the time. There is no reason to risk using off road tires, as far as I can see. Unless you want to make things extra silly (which I tend to do, as you can probably tell I don't take this game too seriously). But to be a formidable opponent, you need to have bulletproof tires. So I wish there were some balancer for them. Maybe semi-bulletproof tires, where you have to activate it, but it only lasts for 5 or 10 seconds, and then has a cooldown. I personally LOVED the boogie bomb stuff. I couldn't stop laughing any time it happened, even to me. Idk. I'm loving this season. It's going to go down as the most memorable one for me, I think. It's insane how much fun I'm having. And I'm sad that so many people don't seem to share that.

saying "saved" is kinda wrong imo. It's a great supplement to something, because it feels kinda wrong to dismiss all that the developers do simply because it's fun and slightly OP. I understand that many prefer this mode, HOWEVER, after all the complaints that nerfed cars, nitro, fists and everything we were having fun with, the fact you'd still prefer something more basic and rudimentary kinda shows what pros have tried to and will still push the main BR to be, rather than fun.
