Maybe because most car manufacturers do not want their cars to get overly destroyed in video games? This is why GTA never had original production cars. Now I'm thinking the reason why it won't be in 7 is because of how a *huge wreck* the online lobbies are. I'm not sure though.

ToyotaMR2 Fanboy The SW20 actually raced at Le Mans as the MC8-R and I think at Super GT in the GT300 category along with the ZZW30. There was a rally version of the AW11 called the 222B as well. Unfortunately the 222B never raced so that would be unlikely to show up. Of course this asuming Toyota actually give race versions of road cars instead of their LMPs and F1 cars. I really hope were not limited to those.

In FH3 Volkswagen was not included yet Audi, Lamborghini, Bugatti, and Bentley were also included! So it was probably not because of "diesel gate" because Audi also offered TDI engines. There may not be some reason for no production Toyotas other than there just will be none.

It also depends on what they mean by race cars. The Celica and Corolla for example used to be very prominent in WRC. AE-86's are well known for their drifting races. Supras are known for street races, though honestly I don't know if they've ever been in professional races like the previously mentioned. Heck, even the Yaris is their rally car of choice these days for some reason. So it's quite subjective as to whether or not many of these popular cars will be in the game.

It actually could be that there are new manufactures that we're not aware of that are added to Forza Motorsport 7, which resorts to them to cutting out other manufactures(Toyota and Lexus) either because they have to limit the cars to reserve gigabytes of data for other features for the xbox to handle, or like you said could be a reason we have no idea about.

I would love it if some how you could have more vintage and classic nascars, for example the Hudson hornet(to this day I go back to motor sport 4 to use this), ford's grand Torino, Plymouth roadrunner and superbird (personal I think this would make some good competition to the Daytona. some other cars I would like to see are cars from the 1950's America would have a good wide choice of cars. obviously I know this will not happen over night and just because I want it but I just wanted to put the idea out

Ok no way I'm buying forza 7 then. No supra, no jzx/chaser, no ae86/gt86 no celicas no sc300/is300. These are all cars that everyone uses. No one uses Volkswagen as much as these.(sure you will use volkwagen once or twice but then you always come back to these.)

I own a 94 Celica, and it was my most successful car in every game since FM4. Just two weeks ago also I purchased a 97 sc300, and it has been my go-to car in FH3 since. Needless to say, if there's no 2J in FM7, nor am I.

Its a terrible thing to happen to forza and toyota, no extra publicity for them and now i will buy need for speed instead of forza because i just cant do without a supra or AE86 etc.

there are older supra race cars, and they were fully modable like a production car back in forza 2 like the 'top secret supra.'

well if toyota isnt going to be in motorsport 7, then Lexus will probably not be in it either since toyota owns lexus and lexus is the american version of toyota. I own a lexus gs300 and in other countries its called the toyota aristo so.......

Apple Slipper Part of me wonders if Scion is going to be in any more future racing games. If you didn't hear about it yet, Scion merged back with Toyota (therefore most Scion vehicles are being re-badged as Toyota) but I'm curious if the FR-S and tC will be in any more games, or if they just keep in Toyota (not in Forza 7)... Well, at least we've still got Nissan and other JDM manufacturers... there's still some variety :D
